    hi cant speak for the number two version, but mines the number 1 and ive had it about 4 years now and its taken some punishment many many days pigeon shooting with thousands of rounds through it and out in all weathers and its been faultless. t3

    still small ,another couple of weeks then give it a poke.no not so many about this year doing as you said about 4 a day in south wales .i suppose we cant have it good all the time still a few months of them yet though it should pick up a bit look on the bright side all the supply companies will be offering the unsold ficam off cheap.

    hi i got a tikka varmint in .222 it shoots very well great triggers .i use norma 40 grain balistic tips very flat shooting i got a t8 on it but on inspection it is corroded inside even though i spray with wd 40 every few outings ,you cannot take this mod apart if i gets another it will be a predator or some thing similar good luck t3

    hi all i have been seriously thinking about getting a night vision scope ,i have been looking through the deben catolouge and there are a few for sale in there i am definately going gen 2 but out of the few in there which is the best .its a mine field for these and expensive if its a wrong choice i dont really like the type sold else where where you have to put your head on the butt pad to see through the scope, the add ons type will be useing rimfire hmr maybe .222 what are these scopes like and how far can you clearly see rabbits etc advice would be very much appreciated th

    some of the foxes i shoot are on large open fields.the 22.250 excels .223 is a good round ,but it cant touch the 22.250 it will piss over them ,dont worry about all the figures ,shooting one is the only way to judge and ive shot them both granted its only my opinion but the poll proved it , who really cares about cost if you are on the range .fair enough but if like me shoot foxes and crows then they are not expensive you can get reloading down to around 20 pence a round if you use your old brass like i said ive got a .222 but thats a back up gun .if i grab a rifle i grabs the 22.250 no

    hi mate loads of different views but there was a poll on here a few months back 22.250 won piss all over 223 range wise ,go on spoil yourself dont cut your self short plenty of ammo around and as said by jamie home loads work out really cheap if you keep your brass .the 22.250 is flat shooting and in the lamp you will not be aiming off the fox shooting this calibre has to be done to believe it just awesome there is a 10% difference between .222 and .223 and i have a .222 i have shot various .223 and there is very little between the two .but use a 22.250 and there a hell of a differen

    hi mate ive tried a remmy 700 in .204 leave well alone very expensive on rounds and not many factory rounds around for it .i never tried home loads , i changed to 22.250 and would never change no comparison much harder hitting same range ,dont listen to 22.250 is noisey load of bollocks i got my 22.250 moderated with t8 and its no louder than my 222 with t4 on go 22.250 or 222 223 good luck with your choice t3

    hello everyone just like to show my appreciation to mr john hallet ,a master of his work for sure ,i just picked up a few fox heads i left with him to mount for me ,christ if you put your hands near them you would expect them to take your hand off first class job he is always very busy but he got them done on time all mounted on hardwood . i know this isnt the right place to put this topic but having these on the wall in the house gives you the kick up the arss to get back out again ,so if any of you want a first class job done he is definately your man i first met him at the cla game

    ss no mate im stuffed really keens is only a 30 minute run,ive spoken to them and they have plenty of ammo there and it seems reasonably priced so i should be ok its just the service and it was nice to pop in to look at new things etc im gutted for the lads though jobs like those dont come round to often . i hope some one will take it over .because if it is run correctly its a gold mine the thing is it was never any control there t3

    HI SS YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT A COMPANY THAT HAS ,I READ IN THE PAPER A ANUAL TURN OVER OF 12 MILLION MY PERSONAL OPINION BACKED BY STAFF THAT ACTUALLY NEW WHAT WAS GOING ON .BY STOCK GOING OUT REALLY QUICKLY AND NOTHING BEING ORDERED BACK IN ,RATS DESERTING A SINKING SHIP .     forget all the hype about barrel burning if your on the range and putting plenty through it then go for the two smaller calibres other wise go for the 22.250 no comparrison as the poll showed as said plenty of ammo around and once you buy a gun why sell it ? so dont listen to people who critizise 22.250 top cal for foxing good luck

    ok . use a .222 absolutely superb very accurate and ammo is no problem at least down my way .not a lot between 223 and 222 as for the 22.250 you gotta use this cal .no comparison to the other two cals and dont listen to the hype about noise yes the 22.250 is loader but most people fit a mod on it and theres no difference once a mod is fitted and as long as you dont go putting round after round and getting a hot barrel they will last a fair old while . and lets be fair they are all great cals when you find the load they like and will do the job in hand .the thing is you will always get di
