    i have 2 jills that are sisters and have always lived together! I wanted to breed them this year as they have just came into season,but can they be kept together when they give birth or is it recomended to split them up?

    as a rule ferrets are sociable animals so you should be ok!

    @blue pocket rocket! ferreting in the day can be hecktic at times so bugger going at night! best kept to days!

    thanks guys put me right off now ha ha saved me getting a fine i didnt realise it would cause so much stress bloody loads of bunnys where i carnt go typical! my permishions are getting realy quiet and cannot obtain any more(not through lack of trying)

    i agree with jamie m,i would like to get youngsters into field sports but as jamie has said to many perverts sorry to be blunt but as a farther i wouldnt let my child go ferreting with a randomer at that age! if you are serious in field sports and do not have family in field sports you tube and dvds may help you if not theres alot of helpfull people on here that no there stuff so ask away they will be happy to help ime shure!

    i prefer jills as they dont seem to be able to hold rabbits down as much as a bulky hob so less digging

    gumtree working ferret kits good bloodlines £5 each and others free looks like you will be able to breed them next season at that price (non incest by the way)

    hi mate i live in norfolk aswell were the sun always shines lol ime also looking for some one to ferret with where abouts are you and are you still looking i have been ferreting for so many years i cannot count them just getting back into it after my wife haveing a baby so if you are interested in going let me no bud!

    i moved to norfolk 8 years ago from coventry were i went ferreting every chance i had now starting to get into it again after my wife haveing our son and i have 4 farms that i ferret and they have plenty of sets a very few seem worth a shot(i still net em all thoe) on a good day 10-15 rabbits were in the midlands i was reguly returned with 30 plus rabbits is it norfilk,the sea air,there just doesnt seem many rabbits,may be mixy has played a huge part any sensible advice greatly recieved and taken in many thanks.

    been a member of this site for a while now and have been sitting back and watching all the bitching going on within the site its just like facebook a crock of shite,i joined this site to discuss field sports with like minded people to try and have a sensible conversation on the sport i love but its just another way of spineless people who havent got the balls to say shit to peoples faces,where has the love for the sport gone just alot of ego problems and it seems the be the greyhound/lurcher group!

    i would try aproaching farmers in your area face to face and dont mention anything but ferreting to them (no farmer likes rabbit damage) go a few times once you have permision get there trust then mention other aspects of your hobby to them see what sort of reaction you get hope that helps bud!

    thats what i think ime going to have to do was hopeing to find sumone that was thining out there ferret stocks thats what ime going to have to do i think i was hopeing to find sumone that was thining out there stock when i started last time i got 2 albinos 1 year old carry box and 50 purse netts for 65 was hopeing to stumble on to sumthing like that again that was a couple of years ago! times have changed and peopla have got tight ha ha

    i fell off scaffolding and damaged my spine thats why i smoke you knob,to proud to go on the dole and i still wrk 4 my liveing,plummer book ime a bricklayer learn to read properly and if my kids do as well as i have herb smokers or not ile be very proud! how proud of your kids are you!!!
