    Hi guys I kind of went head long in to this one cut the handle brass pins in glued and clamped it...... Now not sure how to finish the handle ? Do I sand down to the grooves ? Or ? Not sure any help :)

    A little while back I was asking if anyone had dyed wood before as I had seen a video on u tube .... Well I thought I would try it had two lovely blanks of Matt last year and thought I could try on the handles. The first handle was dyed blue but after sanding and adding true oil it has kind of came out green ....! The second one was blue underneath with red over the top and as you can see it came out brown and looks like wood once it had true oil added .... So personally if anyone's thinking of trying this .. I wouldn't bother
