    Thanks lads..............I just gave her last feed............A big beef joint........I know the boy who is having her as he is local..........He's still a teenager & is out 2-3 times a week with his current lurcher & has also come digging with us........She's going to a good working home.............I'm very happy..........

    After a few "incidents" I am reluctantly putting my Lurcher bitch for sale...............She is 2 1/2 yr old bull/grey/deer cross..............I have used her for Deer & Hare (When legal) & also rabbit no probs............She is very biddable & great in the kennel ............. The problem is a few weeks ago although she killed her quarry.........she made a meal of it & then recently again the quarry I wanted her for caused her problems it shouldnt have...............This has convinced me she wont make the bitch I want her to be.........You can pm me for more details...........

    Hello Fellas...............I have basically got more permission for next season & due to the working style of my 2 terriers I really could do with a third dog as back up............My digging partner has a bitch & a youngster but I seriously think we could do with another member in the kennel...........I can gaurentee the dog will see lots of hard work................If anyone can help me I'd be happy to help them..........Im sure a few lads on here can vouch for me....................Thanks.....

    .............Again another reason why I think I'll just stick to another site in regards to terrierwork...............I gave the lad the benifit of the doubt but he has proved he's a clown..........I just feel sorry for the dogs.........

    Well I just read about someone having three dogs to ground................ If the lad who posted is young & inexperienced then despite the fact that he has done wrong I can sort of understand ................ Hopefully he will take some advise & never use more than one dog at a time.......for a few reasons............1. Its f*****g dangerous for the dogs 2. If he's serious about earth work 2ing & 3ing terriers up will only lead to inferior dogs & possibly ruin potentially good workers............ On the other hand if he is someone who has had dogs a while then to do what he

    Had some cracking digs & watched some great runs on the lamp but a while ago I was on a quad with a hunt terrierman .......... The hounds had opened right up & were in fall cry across a wide open space with the quarry up in front we drew level with the lead hounds & went right across the space with them as they hunted.............f**k ME.........!!!!!!!!!!!.............Hairs on the back of the neck people.............Felt like a f*****g hound.................an unforgettable moment...............

    The shows , for me are about getting together & talking about the dogs while having a drink.............Some , even "names" take it all far too f*****g seriously & I have seen a few "strops" as a result...........If a show winner is doing the job it was bred for then fair do's but the vast majority of "winners" are doing feck all...& then as a result of being a "winner" it is dropped on various bitches..More so if the "winners" owner is a "respected" terrierman........This situation is certainly detrimental to the working terrier imo......

    Place local to delivers countrywide............I just paid £340 for 2no. 6ft x 4ft terrier runs & a 6ft x 6ft Lurcher run................That included 2no. 3/4 full panels as seperators.....3no. door sections & 5no. mesh sections all fully galved...........

    In laymans terms......................Dont put pics of non workers on a WORKING dog forum............I k n o w it s d i f f i c u l t ............... But its this kind of mentality that has led to he demise of many working strains even breeds............If you want to post pics of "puffy" or "snowball".......chuck it on the general talk section or better still send them into "pets do the "funniest" things"................ I personally think it wrong to put show shite in the same sentance as true working animals but thats just my opinion................P.S. Chief..........Did you like "Deisels

    The dog in the pic was of a similar age & the only dog that day not to catch a rat........!!!!!!!!...........He run about with a dead one but that was it................He later went on to become a TOP CLASS digging terrier.....In fact he can be seen this mnth in the EDRD....The small strong choc dog with a trophy....That was just a bit of fun...........But he exceled at earth work & had seen more in his short life than alot of terriers will in their careers...........He sadly died of suspected poisoning.....
