  1. Fecking bollocks!.....Get a jaffa, that's a vasectomised hob or take the jills to the vet for the jill jab :realmad:
  2. ...tried mine on a fish head once ...fecking salmon as well
  3. How about useing the same method that you use to stop your dog biting you? ....Buckets of water my arse...I'll say no more
  4. lmfao ...and no one wondered why he has two litters and they will ALL be ready to go...whenever. Why have them in the first place?...Or did I miss something
  5. No offence meant to anyone,...just can't see the need to dunk a ferret in water!...Guess I'm just lucky that mine are tame
  6. Rhys, yer dog sounds like a happy chappie ...You bin listening to too many 'old wifes tales'...
  7. Don't worry about it!.....He's grabbing you cos he wants to shagg your hand ...He will be probably be ok when things are back to normal ...My hob is 100% during the winter but come this time of year he takes every opportunity to grab anything that moves near him in the hope it's a jill on heat. I tend to my hobs first so I don't have any misleading smells on my hands Chilli, words fail me
  8. That reminds me of Quasimodo.. :11: .....sanctuary...sanctuary Good name for a ferret what!!
  9. Smart cas' is good advise ...And don't wear fecking trackies trainers or one of them silly baseball/chav caps Don't mention your dog 'til you get the permission to ferret and then casually drop in, "ok to bring my rabbiting dog?" Good luck!
  10. Hay and sawdust can both be too dusty for the ferrets respiratory system. Straw is good for bedding and in plentyful supply, unless you live in South Wales . Not a good idea to use barley straw as the barley ears can ingress up the alimentary canal and other orifices Wood shavings are good for the scats corner ....Don't use hardwood shavings as hardwood can be carcinogenic to ferrets
  11. Here ya go FK, help youself
  12. I work on a farm, we have tons of the stuff, and right now id rather drive to fu#king wales to deliver the poor sod some straw, rather than read one more post about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could you pick the vet' up on the way through!...Oh and tell him to bring a rusty pair o pliers, FK's gonna pull some teeth...his own
  13. You wouldn't lance a tooth abscess Ginge for the same reason you would never get a dentist to pull a tooth over an abscess. The tooth abscess must be dealt with before pulling a tooth or the poison may get into the blood stream and..... AB's and warm water ...I don't understand FK's post, not for me to say he's bullshiting as I may be a little off track and he may have been told something and got mixed up ...I will stand and be corrected of course if I've got my facts wrong!
  14. Gotta give it to FK he certainly knows how to start a 'mass-debate'....Umpteen pages about where to get a bale from ...I'd go along with the old blanket advise FK, easy to wash and sling out when fecked. If you really want to know where to get bales o straw from ask the next bit of tottie you see riding a horse ...And don't use hay for bedding
  15. ...The marvel’s of modern veterinary treatment eh! .....Well I never knew you could ‘remove’ an abscess. And how the feck do you strengthen a tooth?...Had an abscess removed from a dog’s side once, left a big fecking hole but I always thought tooth abscess’s had to be treated with AB’s..Well I learn something everyday
  16. ...When they're so small they only nip....ya know like baby alligators
  17. Blando, give Robin a call at, http://www.thefieldsportsdebate.co.uk/kania.html All the gear you will need there. Set your wands/pegs every five paces
  18. You are a waste of space!...You post fecking crap all over the web and disregard the advise that YOU asked for :realmad: For the benefit of your ferrets, when you eventually get to a vet' ask them for a small supply of Synulox AB's so that next time you have a minor problem you may be able to treat the ferret. If they do give you some tab's make sure you listen to their advise on amounts to give etc and don't fecking tell them they're wrong You dim kunt!
  19. ....I'll be rich! [quote name='RobW71' date='May 18 2006, 01:12 AM' post='83557' I don't suppose anyone has let you down Mike regarding the Silvers Kits? Regards Rob Are you after a silver?.....Should be able to help you out ...Hywel on here is/was after kits from me?... Take them to bed with you everynight Moll .....Just handle them every day, when they're big enough of course ...Ten seconds with every kit daily over a four/five week period will ensure they're hand tame
  20. Well my first litter arrived yesterday from my silver, probably overnight. Another litter due Friday from my old trusty albino and next week a litter from my pole cat ...Yes lots of kits but a few people that want them and of course for myself as my workers have got rather old. My Jaffa is seven or eight years old, my old poley fitch is wandering about like a demented eighty year old auntie and needs a 'tap' ...And my fabulous albino that I can't really be sure of her age, came to me as a rescue a few years back. I will need to keep back a couple of hobs for summer work from now on and of co
  21. there big ferrets an theres fat ferrets what the difference between a big ferret pulling your purse nets all over the place and a fat ferret pulling your purse nets all over ? Use a longnet then you can use big fat ferrets
  22. So you would keep the poor fecker in solitary would you :realmad: .....Ferrets are gregarious they ARE better kept in company of other ferrets
  23. 'Kakebrand'...cooking chocolate is worse!
