    Well I can relate to what you are saying.I have had lurchers before,not into getting big numbers got a whipp that should catch enough to feed me and the dogs.Not knocking lurchers just for me a whipp is easier for me I can't see how a Whippet is easier to take care of, feed, etc, than a Lurcher ? I've got two Lurcher bitches, 23" & 29", and they take less looking after than our Mini Manchester Terrier and Chihuahua !! LOL !! Cheers. well i think whippets are easier to look after for1.i can put my three dogs in the back of my corsa to get about if i had 3 26 27 28 inch lurcher'

    i really like whippet or small whippetx type's mine do perfect for me i go out 2 or 3 nites a week in the winter and she cope's fine hardly miss a rabbit plus take up less room when in the house/car. less crap to pick up and less food to buy i feed 2 whippets and a staffy for about 4 weeks on 1 bag of £15 chudleys i also give them my left over veg meat etc great little dogs

    hi just wondering if anybody has getting any of the galvinised run panels from dogkenneling.co.uk there advertised in last weeks cmw there way cheaper than anywhere else i can find 34quid for a 1.5m door panel where as everywhere else is about £55 but when i rang them there was somebody whispering to the bloke telling him what to say to me and there website has been under maintenance since i checked last week just seems abit dodgie anybody dealt with them and are they any good much help appreciated

    i know for a fact she is as fast as a whippet i would bet every penny i have that she is as fast as a whippet i had her at the wester hope track last year trying to get her to chase the lure you were there aswell wit your two rough coat dogs and there was a lad there wit a black whippet with that double muscling gene thing that won that day it was snowing if you remember al bring her back down and prove it to you if you want

    i have a beddy whippet and she is just as fast as a pure whippet i had her at raby castle last year an she done the dash thing in 5.1 secs and only done it a coupe of times and the fastest that day was 4.94secs and that was a grew plus you tend to get tougher skin than a pure whippet so not as many cuts mine is 3/4 whip 1/4 beddy 20tts and i only use mine for lamping 2 or 3 times a week she catches just as many as my friends lurchers that are between 24 and 27 inches great little dogs

    well just wondering a well coupled dog is the desired type but lets say we have to dogs the same height one is short coupled and the other is well coupled what would be the difference between the two performance wise speed turnability etc ? would the longer dog always be faster?

    i have been making it fun just chuck her toy for her for 5 mins once aday normally when i get back from work she loves it and i finish when she is still happy and wanting more.as for her prey drive she is really keen cant hold her back if she sees a rabbit her lips are blowing in and out wanting off she has only chased about 4 rabbits in her life as i aint wanting to run her until her body and muscle is strong enough to cope with it as the last thing i want is her damaging herself so you think i should just keep her reminded about retrieve work as im doing with her dummy for a few month and se

    well any help will be much appreciated i have a 9 month old whippet x greyhound which will retrieve toy ropes sticks balls etc in the garden except a real rabbit fresh or stiff she just has a quick sniff then walks away yet her rabbit skin dummy she will fetch all day long over the fence and everything.she has had 2 rabbits on the lamp first one she retrieved and on friday night she caught one so i tried to get her to fetch it but she just stood there looking over with the rabbit in her mouth then spat it out and watched the rabbit WALK away i couldnt believe it that made me think she still to

    axel looked a good dog on that dvd a watch it all the time when am bored lolmy lass goes mad at me. the dog called the mighty josh on that dvd my dads friend ended up with that dog i went out a all the time with him and that dog when i was about 11 years old caught loads of big game with it he was told it was about 4 but he later found out it was more like 9 or something and that it had been stolen i wouldnt mind a copy of simply the best it would be good to see more of that dog im willing to pay for the copys

    yeah Bryson she is turning into a lovely little dog and no problems with her prey drive now she stands up on her back legs while my other dog is chasing with a little head following shes like a little mearcat lol shes hilaourious

    thanks for comments folks. sowhat i dont know her breeding the lad told me there was good blood in her and he was trying to hunt the bits of paper out with all the names on but a couldnt be bothered to wait lol so a told him it dint matter he told me what was in the mother old coursing lines and stuff but a didnt have a clue what he was saying ha just aslong as she makes a good worker her mother was a lovely looking dog really strong about 25 tts my pup is 23tts and she hasnt growing for a while now so thats probably gonna b as tall as she gets i only wanted her to make 23 24 so im real happy

    just a few photos of my pup at different stages 3 month this is when i got her 4 ish month i think she looks abit skinny in pic but its just the way she is breathing 5 or 6 month 7 month lady chilling most up to date lady 8 month old her chest doesnt look very deep on pic but its just the angle i have taken the photo ive had her out a few times with my other dog lamping just to watch but on tuesday night a thought i would let her have a run on a rabbit it was here very first rabbit she has chased day or night.i seen a rabbit out from the corner of the field about 60 y

    no neither of above ive been feeding her raw ox heart with her dry food twice a week but i have done that all season she has just been having a little breathing fit its really quite scary her rib cage really goes in and out and she makes a really loud sucking and blowing noise through her nose it just happens for no reason am just watching tv with her and she started doing it happens probably once or twice an hour might have to take her to the vets even though hes useless

    just wondering if [NO TEXT TALK] mite no whats wrong with my dogs they have been grunting and sneezing alot over the past 4 days and one of them in particular sounds like it cant breath really inhaling and then blowing out sounds really snotty is it just a cold ?everything else about them is fine eating toilet playful etc ant help appreciated thanks

    well people ive had bull breeds since i was born and i think they are different to other dogs when confronted most dogs would be happy just to have a little snack at the other dog where as the bull breeds just want to rip the other dog to pieces and wont stop until its done that i think they are normal dogs until they are confronted by another dog then there minds tick a different way if they were normal dogs you could walk along the beach with them of the lead like every1 else but you cant because you know if a dog just looks at it wrong well thats
