  1. Save a bit more and get the marky610 unit, join this forum http://www.nightvisionforumuk.com/ and contact him
  2. They are more lenient on granting SGC over FAC, in simple terms you are entitled to a SGC unless the police can show good reason why not, for a FAC you can't have one unless you can show good reason to them. Either way, if you have a criminal background that excludes you, then you get neither! Are you saying if anyone has a criminal background that excludes them from obtaining a shotgun or firearms certificate ?
  3. The 1st one you suggested is a pile of crap, he has 11 of them for sale and sold one, have a look at the one he sold , click on 1 sold Cheap but does the job eBay item number: 370963293224 and under a tenner
  4. A few questions x3 magnification NV with a chevron reticle, how far can you shoot with this ? can you get a doubler for this and if so who sells them, if i need to get it repair or need a part who do i go to ? Can you put a link up to where in the UK sell these for £1300
  5. Its like most things in life the more you spend the better the goods two guns so i would say an add on so get yourself a budget, you will need a night vision unit / ir laser / DSA cage / a scope with side wheel, also how far you wish to view as well as shoot, for instance shoot out to 50 to yrds then view to 100 to 150 yrds this is so you can see your back stop as camo has said ( get to an NV meet and find a unit that fits your needs )
  6. What a load of dog's poo you talk . you should read your posts before answering, one minute you can spot a fox in the rain and fog at 300 to 400 yards and now you are agreeing with me that you need ir in certain conditions, well rain and fog have got to be the worst . The omni 7 is a good tube but CANNOT see in the fog and for someone that has owed every night vision unit you do talk some crap, this might be why you have been kicked off most of the forms, i've had 6 emails about you and only been on here for 5 minutes As for knowing Julian for over 10 years well we all have our problems, i s
  7. I would like to see a digital yukon ranger view 300 yrds and identify a fox Jack68 do yourself a favour and look through one before you decide to buy as you will be disapointed if you're hoping to see a fox at 300 yrds, you will be lucky to identify anything at 150yrds let alone the distances stated by others. Camo how far can you see with your ranger with the laser ?
  8. the piture the give i second to non providing they have the right tube in them most of these units have parallax issues more Misses than hits . i have built a bino kite for spotting nothing beats it i have compered it to my pvs7s and my pvs14s . you carnt use eny ir with this unit as it burns the tube within seconds but then again it dont really need it i was out the uther night it was raining and misty one of the worst night you could imagine i still spotted the fox probably maybe 400 yards This is the problem when people struggle to know the distance and start guessing with the word
  9. in my opinion it dont matter [bANNED TEXT] your using on the back of the gun its the spotter that counts if you get a good one you can watch mister fox with no ir. so he dont know your there . then lift the gun and shoot i have used a sony camcorder like this with good results. weather you change are not is up to you . but i would defo invest in the best spotter i could afford. i have also used gen ones on the back of the gun because i know the shots safe.just my opinion but its worked for us for years plus i really like walking round spotting mister fox then sneaking up on him its the best p
