I like a bit of HP, but sometimes I just like the bacon and eggs bareback especially if cooked in some nice fat. I think the trouble with all these sauces is they are full of sugar and tend to dominate the flavour. You cant properly taste with it on I think but I still like a bit now and then. I will try the Fruity now though thanks.

If you make a breakfast for someone it should be their choice if egg can touch bean or tomato, especially tinned tomato. In the meantime use the sausage as a breakwater! "Alan Partridge"

I cant even remember what coast town it was but it had a chippy run by this big old fat boy and the fryers were heated by coal, and everything cooked in beef fat, it was delicious, we went every day, couldnt help it, then I realised how he had got so fat, his food was too good.

The trouble is most of them get their chips already cut delivered in plastic bags from a van, theyve got no pride in the job.

We used to have Harry Ramsdens in a box aswell as Youngs, they were pretty good and better than some shitty chippies. I think the best in the world come from Chippies in North Yorkshire closely followed by the Trawler in Sheringham Norfolk, superb fish and chips.

We used to have 3 abattoirs near us, one shut in bse times and the other 2 sold pure quality meat, I dont know why but only one left. Most Butchers seem to be struggling. The belly you got looks great.
