    yea i dont think a train journey would be such a good idea all the dogs i want are up north or in wales why dont get a mate to drive you up or use dog transporter? had thought of getting someone to drive but none of my mates want to drive anywhere, whats the rates of a transporter? The biggest messer quote on the site and one that instantly boils my piss......You are going to keep a dog(well perhaps YOU dont) for 14 years, get many seasons graft out of it, so surely, a drive/train ride/transporter to get the dog you want is f**k all in the grand scheme of things sur

    on the steep hills theres isnt much rough ground, would a wippet size be ok getting up the hill at speed?

    great advice, the area has some real flat areas, with rough grass bushes areas steep hills and such, i dont need big strong dog for rabbits i know that, i have worked for a bloke who has/had working dogs he drives around with a wippet saluki looking thing but i think shes got alot more in her,shes great so calm and obiediant and is the reason i started thinking about getting a rabbiting dog, the bloke offered to get me one from somone he knows but at the time i wasnt 100% sure so i didnt bother, i might be able to get in contact with him to see if any pups are about as he even told me before a

    thanks for the replys, yea just for bunnys, my bullie will dispatch anything else getting in the way so it can be the smallest size dog thats capable of any rabbit i know as a pup it will be hyper its just my dads getting on a bit and hes fed up of getting stampeeded by my bullie so to bring another dog in needs to be the opposite of him really il have a look at these crosses

    so ive been thinking about getting a lurcher and need some help are bull crosses hyper at home? i need something calm as my bull terrier is a loon in the house really id like something calm at home but full on when it comes to chasing bunnys, not huge and not hairy any help is appreciated thanks
