Nice one bosun, I've always thought if a running dog has ever had surgery on it's legs that it would never run the same again, the vet was pretty confident tho.

Went for a mooch with my mate Sunday night I took me 12 month lurcher pup. 1st slip I gave him he spun a rabbit an fell really awkward, he came back in a bad way.. I got him up vet the next morning an the crest of his knee as broke off.. I have just got him back out the vet today an the vet said he should get back to normal they have wired the the piece of bone back on I am pig sick as the season as just started.. An my pup is out for 6 to 8 weeks Gunna give the pup a chance. Has anybody had any similar problems????

I have never heard of that 1 bosun 15 in one night that's some goin that.. As the poacher said its not all about numbers it's about getting out their with ya mates get out get a couple get home handy..

9 years ago me an my 2 mates caught 10 foxes in 1 night with 3 very fit lurchers. The record was 9 for years from another group of lads from by ares an we beat it av got lots pics. The good old days down the midlands... I've still got me old dog since them days Hancock collie greyhound ..

I have bin waiting for months for the fields to come down to get my pup out. An I got out Saturday for a walk I live 10 mins from altcar an am over their most days walking my lurchers an terriers. I walked over the cut fields from lydiate to formby an never seen a seat never mind a hare. 10 years ago the fields were moving with hares not any more I hope all them antis that got the sport banned to save the brown hare are proud of themselves, cos it looks like most of them have been shot..
