    well all i can say mate is i aint takint it lightly by any means, and yes i am building the mews because i have had some spare time to do so, as for the knowledge i will gain this before i get the bird!!!!

    i live in the countryside and will have plenty of land to go at having spoke to local land owners/farmers etc,will have plenty of game (rabbits,ducks,pheasant etc, aint taking this lightly,considered it for a couple of years now and decided to persue my interest in it! as for the price well the same could be said about plenty of things in life!!

    Just signed up as I'm in the process (after years of thought) of getting involved with falconry. At the moment i'm building my aviary/mews and buying/begging items that i'll require once I get my Harris Hawk. I have a friend in Ripon who has had HH''s before and I'm hoping to go see an old mate this weekend as he has 2 hawks to see if I can gain some experience there! If anyone else in the Ripon, North Yorkshire area would be kind enough to help me out (teach me/hands on) with the hawks I would be very grateful.
