  1. been hard work in't rain today on mi tod but got this far
  2. that's the back mate and it's having plywood fitted the full length,height as to enclose the whole thing cheers
  3. well managed to get main front roof support in,will fit rest tomorrow, hard on mi own but got it done, also got netting fitted, again not easy alone but done now, rain stopped play after a couple hours, it's been pissing down for the last 4 hours so i gave in ha ha maybe get more done tomorrow
  4. 8 weeks old can't wait now
  5. slight delay in progress this week (no rush though), roof started, door started, just need some more timber which my mate's getting on monday and roof will be done, door frame should be fitted by't weekend pics to follow soon and also should have an updated pic of the bird

  11. nice one mate, looks great got the food hatch cut out yesterday, will be on with finishing that and doing door and roof in next couple of days
  12. just waiting to fit more feather edge on there billy lol i ran out so will finish that bit later and put food chute in at side also, then roof and door sorted early next week

  16. you did steve and i took your advice, saved a few quid cheers should have bought a few and put em on ebay ha ha
  17. slowly buying stuff for when i get the bird, bought a bath yesterday, £6 large (60cm) plastic plant pot base from't local garden centre, bit cheaper than the things you see advertised specifically as 'hawk baths' and i'm sure it'll do't same job!
  18. think my next dog will be German Shorthaired or Wirehaired Pointer or possibly another Weimaraner (had one over 20 years ago)
  19. does anyone else use heaters/heat lamps for the mews in winter? gonna fit a tube heater either 2ft (80w) or 3ft (135w) both around the £25 mark, must be worth doing after last winter!!
