  4. i thought the OP's question was straight forward,"£500" was the price...where can you buy an ns200 for £500?.... you might be able to get an overpriced ns50 for that kinda money, its black and white and ok if you only intend to shoot prey at 30yds (safely that is,and being able to check your backstop if you miss).why pay £500 for a set-up that doesnt have much range when you can get much better for your money. If you were to go down the "homebuild" route, you can get something on a par with the ns200 for £250.The ns gear works ok but is rediculously overpriced. There are others to check out such a
  5. i have a sony IP55e in box with all the paperwork +leads+ memory card+tape+remote+filters+hardshell carry case+step-up ring to make a DSA with £ posted to your door? P.M me if interested
  6. the 16mm lenses from stock optics are of a far superiour quality to the chinese ones...they might both be 16mm,but thats where the similarity ends,as in all things...you get what you pay for Funny....I have 2 identical lens here, one from china and one from stock optics and the only difference imo is price. funny....i have a drawer with about 40 chinese lenses in because i get them free with the cameras i use....i replace them with the ones from stock optics because they are better...imo. If you read the spec of the lenses you have and compare them i think you will see the differ

  9. there's always a warranty...the camera/screen/battery all carry there own 12month warranty's,and if you buy a homebuild "ready built" the maker will surely give a guarantee with it....i know i do.
  10. i will try to do a video of a T-20 with the new driver board low/med/high settings.
  11. if you are only shooting at 30m you can spend a lot less.even if you want to spot at 150-200yds you can buy gear for less than £250 complete with a T-20 ir.
  12. depends on your gun and what you are intending to shoot at what distances?
  13. i messed about and wasted money when i was learning about NV(as ya do),but it has come a long way in the last few years. At first i could only match what the ns50 does(black and white and 75yds maybe, but mine cost £75 instead of £500!) Now the cams are a lot better and provided you get one with 1/3" sony sensor and match that with a T-20 (for instance) then you are looking at 150yds+ depending on ambient light (the darker the better). It has been very time consuming/expensive to aquire the knowledge, and forums like this do help newbies save a few quid on possible mistakes, the one thing i wi
  14. my camera's are the little 38mm X 38mm cctv board cams,i build them into a small box half the size of the ns50 one,the colour cam is 700tvl so its crystal clear and the effio versions have 'on screen display',the wiring is a bit fiddly but i mount the joystick control to the outside of the camera housing with the power and AV sockets underneath,it simply pushes into the tube and that slips over your scope. The screen mounts forward on your scope because a)if its to close to your face the glare is too much and i wanted a unit that could comfortably be shot from the normal shouldered position.I a
  15. yes you can, especially if you can use a soldering iron...or you could buy one already made up.You just have to decide how much you want to spend and how far you need to be able to see.
  16. how much for cash if i can get someone to collect it?
  17. hi all, "Marky light" is a bit too much of a general term as he makes lots of different illuminators?...the latest "hot" seller is the Marky T-20,this is a re-branded Uniquefire UF T-20 with an oslon black LED and single mode driver board fitted, it runs on 1X 18650 battery( do a google search for Uniquefire UF T-20 for a pic) Marky is not the only guy making them on the nightvisionforum, you can contact Ian on ir.light.builds@gmail.com as he makes and sells them also,i think they are around £40+ postage.
  18. night-eye500...much better all round than the ns50 and a lot cheaper (why people keep buying the ns50 at full price is beyond belief!) the same pic and distance as the ns200 (depending on scope used) but again MUCH cheaper...its a no-brainer.
  19. yes, although its against forum rules some idiots with nothing better to do still insist on commenting on other peoples sales threads when not interested in buying whats on offer...even after the gear has been sold for some time?!...might i suggest you find another hobby...besides being a troll
