Moll At least some people can see the larger picture. Whilst I may have used a pretty broad brush at times to paint the scene. I believe that I'm not that far of the mark in regards my definitions and inclusions. One thing I am certain of is the contempt and disdain that the afore mentioned certain types are held in by the majority of legitimate country sports men and women. Long may that continue.

Swampy You're soooooooo correct. Especially in regards to the lack of class and reverse snobbery. I realised before I made the OP that the Neanderthal types would never manage to grasp the basic concept. Those over shot brows and dragging appendages come with a heavy burden on the intellectual front.Perhaps that might help explain their propensity to wear chavy-cammo everywhere they go. I know a someone that uses them out of a BSA Monarch .270. They worked well enough and as he doesn't pay for them he has little to complain about. Thats very quick is it not? I to have a friend who found the original copy of the holy bible in his loft only last week and he has to wear gloves to touch that as well. Ya don't say! NB A lot of what you post is very true , and works just fine for the guy producing a product for his own consumption. Things get a little tougher when you start putting carcases into the commercial food chain. Correct temperature control storage for a start. Unless in the middle of winter it would be hard to get the wood shed temp down to <7degree for a start. If you refrain from Stus favourite pasttimes of scratching his chocolate star fish, rubbing his bollox or sticking snuff up his nose you can quite legitimately get away without having to wear gloves. Pure supposition on your behalf there Stu. As the carcase is already on the bench when the video starts. So there's no way of appertaining what occurred or didn't occur before filming commenced. You've got to hand it to the guy he's handy with the knife and hook. I have a contact who is equally fast when breaking down carcases. 25 years in the contract butchery trade. He does a roe into joints, steaks, trimmings and waste in about 5 minutes. He wears one of those chainlink gloves rather than use a hook. -
