  1. I can only speak for myself and say the like/dislike aspect that you have alluded too has never clouded into my views. What exactly do you have an interest in and how does working in the city have any relevance to your offer? Or have I missed something?

Swampy You're soooooooo correct. Especially in regards to the lack of class and reverse snobbery. I realised before I made the OP that the Neanderthal types would never manage to grasp the basic concept. Those over shot brows and dragging appendages come with a heavy burden on the intellectual front.Perhaps that might help explain their propensity to wear chavy-cammo everywhere they go. I'm astounded that we've achieved the level of gutter language responses that we have. I was expecting little more than simple grunting and chest beating. Sorry, enough of the derisory mocking re
  3. Oh well ! If its all right with you. I'll consider your views with the same attitude and in the same manner in which they were offered.
  4. You're quite save Snuff.[spelling] Ooopps! Should have be "safe". Ha! But I'm sure he'll get my drift. Magdon, I must say that your a bit of a wag when it comes to the replying lark. I do hope its all a little tongue in cheek. Wag... one can but try. I've always felt it best to have ones tongue firmly in ones in cheek. Rather than have ones to lips on some elses butt. Both might cause one to mumble, but the former leave a far better taste in ones mouth when you decide to call it quits.

Ah! I can see your POV Try think of it as a stimulating topic of conversation over a beer at the club with a few friends.

    Chav Cammo

Given the certain type that wear chav cammo to gamefairs(See OP for description). I'd definitely not want see them nude. Are you sure you meant chalk and cheese? As the phrase means two things that are might possibly be confused but which are in fact very different.

Take it you just wander around in the familys tweed do you.............. When its appropriate yes. When its not, I wear something that is appropriate. Personally the attraction, in both the wearer and the garb, of what has become universally described as "chavness" ,that seems to hold so much appeal to a certain type, has always failed me.

What gives with all the chav's that insist on wearing Realtree to the shows and game fairs? It seems that its now become some kind of must wear uniform along with the shaved heads and tattoos. Isn't it enough that they have fat birds with badly dyed hair, who smoke roll ups and have snotty nosed kids. The really serious one also think they have to drag their bullX lurchers and minging terriers around with them as well. Is it some kind of award badge thing . Like the gold stars you see on the McDonalds burger flippers.
  12. A pair of light weight boots(not wellies)that support your ankle and keep your feet dry, a pair of old trousers and a jacket of some sort in a drab neutral colour. Deer see in shades of grey so as nondescript and as drab as possible works best. No need to get dressed up like a wannabe sniper in mil-surp cammo or cover yourself from head to foot in Realtree.

  14. Any such claims depend upon which side of the fence you stand. Or whether you're content to do as some are and sit on the fence and lob the splinters dug out of their arse cheeks at those that have pitched their tent on one side or the other. As for doing oneself favours, name calling hardly puts one at the head of the line when favours are being handed out. That some simply cant help themselves is no excuse. IMO

  16. Where abouts in the UK are you? There are plenty of good stalkers both full time and part time who'll sell you an opportunity to try your hand at the game, show you what to do and provide you will a rifle to do the necessary. Best advice would be to shop around and see who's nearest and then discuss it with them. No need to get ripped off over prices either. There's bound to be some good deals available later in the buck season. As well as for the doe cull.
  17. With the increasingly more stringent demands for better hygiene procedures in the handling of all game, not just on a commercial scale but also on the personal consumption level as well. I'm interested to find out what you all use and what you use to meet the best practice guidelines and FSA recommendations required to address the following potential threats Weils Disease, Pasteurella Multocida, Clostridium Difficile, Bird Flu, TB, Typhoid, Hepatitis B, Lymes Disease, MRSA, Bacterial, Mycobacterial, Viral and Fungal micro-organisms Personally I have been using the TriGene High Level Surfac
  18. Thankyou You might want to give some consideration to joining the St Huberts Club £80pa memebership fee and they have stalking in Thetford Forest. They also have a good stalkers training program as well as having a decent social calender of stuff to enjoy as well as attending the various game fairs http://www.sainthubertclub.co.uk/default.asp
  19. Two headkeepers were awarded the MVO in the Queens Birthday Honours list. Something the tabloid press conveniently forgot to mention. So congratulations to David James Clark Head Gamekeeper on Sandringham Estate and to David Alexander Scrimgeour Head Keeper Balmoral Estate. Who incidentally already holds the Royal Victoria Medal for services rendered to the royal family. Good to see the guys being recognised for their work.
