I`ve just done a breeding of a Border Collie x Greyhound (1st cross) and I was just wondering if anyone has this first cross and if so, can you please post up a photo of your dog on here to give me a rough idea of what they look like and the variations.

Hi there, just wondering what accessoies you guys have on your quad bikes... i.e. to carry guns, dogs, ferrets, etc.

lol... apart from snakes, I`ve flushed out owls, feral cats, foxes out of burrows. the ferrets also came across an echidna that was hiding in a small bush!!!

Sorry mate, thats what I also meant with regards to snakes, when I stated; "I know a lot of guys over here hunt with ferrets throughout the year as ferrets are extremely cheap to buy over here. But these same guys go through a sh!t load of ferrets in a year. Due to ferrets being cheap to buy, we also dont use locators like you do in the UK, or its very rare that anyone does". I know a guy that lost half a dozen ferrets in a month due to snakes. But then again, I also know another guy that hasnt lost one to a snake this summer. So if I keep him away from the jills for about 8 weeks, would this be enough time? Also, would the jills come into any sort of health issues if they dont get mated in those 8 weeks?

They come into season around October. I dont hunt with my ferrets from October to April due to the snakes. I know a lot of guys over here hunt with ferrets throughout the year as ferrets are extremely cheap to buy over here. But these same guys go through a sh!t load of ferrets in a year. Due to ferrets being cheap to buy, we also dont use locators like you do in the UK, or its very rare that anyone does.

We`re in opposit seasons to you guys in the UK here in Australia. So do you reckon around September would be best or can I do it any earlier. The Jills here come in season around October.

I`ve got a young hob thats caged up with 3 jills. I`m thinking of getting him done as I dont want the jills having any kits next year. What is the best age to get him done?
