  1. Im getting my ferrets tomorrow and figured id go around the butchers and get some scrap meat what they dont want. Can anyone tell me what I should ask for and what they typically enjoy?. im guessing it will be mostly bones with bits of meat on it etc. Ill also give it general food just figured meat would be better so I should see what I can get. cheers.

  3. i was like 14/15/16 etc and lived in australia my parents and family arnt into that stuff not to mention ferreting was illegal in the state i lived in. Now im back in england im wanting to take her.

  9. Hello, Originally I thought that I wouldnt be able to get some kits for another good 2 months or so but I can actually get them now due to changed circumstances. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone near county durham has any kits available. I was chasing jills and pref not albino as im not that keen on them. Im new to ferreting and this will be my first ferrets but they will still be going to a good home.   11. I had a go at making one, it was like a dogs hind leg. My granda just laughed and said it was a waste of time. It was crooked turns out the way I made it (2x sqaure sections with ply connecting etc) the square sections were slightly different heights due to some of the wood being thicker... as a result it was crooked...ohwell ill have to try again another time. Atleast I tried though

  17. you guys arnt going to believe this. one of the vets i contacted said The cost of the injection is £32. + consultation fee £24.75, this needs to be done yearly. There is also a implant you can have put in males and females this is £69.40 + consultation fee £24.75 this implant can last for up to two years. It is not recommended to have ferrets spayed or castrated anymore for health reasons. Well, someone else said I can use their hob on my jill so ill probably end up getting a hob in january or december and snipping him then or ill wait untill the jills are out of season. get the hob sniped aug then he be ready the next season u need to wait a few months after the op anyway before hes clear so you rkn I should use another hob and then get mine done in like august (next year)? assuming your getting kits now .or u may get an older working hob that can be done early next year but u still need to wait around 3 months before hes clear by then the jills have already been
