Certain Species, in certain circumstances can be viewed as pests. These include: Crow, Collared Dove, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Jackdaw, Jay, Magpie, Feral Pigeon, Rook, Woodpigeon, Canada Goose, Monk Parakeet and Ring-necked Parakeet.
These can be considered pest birds and dispatched under a general licence.
The above is in England only I believe. Wales and Scotland do not have the Parakeet on their licenses.
