    Thanks simon he is coming along nicely and it will not be long before he has his ultra then he will be back at the farm and hope fully bag his first bunny im taking him to the range this week as vislauk has a new hw80k and im going to see what little hunter is like with that as he is good with a prosport but he can not use the under leaver to cock the rifle as the prosport is as big as him :laugh: :laugh:and he has allready sorted his tent out and packed it away so he is ready fof the next thl meet i will keep you all posted atvbmac

    He stopped at mine after we had been at the farm and we taked for quite abit about hunting the do,s and the donts before he fell asleep and this morning he did not want to go home he wanted to stay with grandad .you have got to love them :thumbs: :thumbs: atvbmac

    Thanks lads and the rifle is a webly raider 22 and simon you want to see him shoot a prosport mate just ask marksman as he was shooting his at the range last sunday and i will let you all know how he gets on atvbmac

    Well i went and picked my grandson up to knight and headed for the farm we got there for about 7,30 and set the gun up and checked the zero and then we went for a wonder around but nothing around not even eny pigeons but i told ethan(my grandson ) how to walk quietly and showed him how then we went back to the car for a bite to eat and a cupa then off into the woods it was pich black and i thought he wud be fritend but no i was rong he was a star i could not beleave it being that he is only 8yrs old but there was still nothing around so we had some pears that my wife had put in our bait box fo

    Well lads if the wether is ok im taking little hunter to one of mine and vislauk,s perms friday night but he will not have a rifle i will take mine but i just want him to walk around with me to get used to the land and to lern about the land and where the pray are and to get used to shooting in the dark and how to creep up on the pray i will let him have a go of my raider of witch he shoots very well but as we all know its a hole lot diffrent shooting at night he dus not know yet so ill get a phone call once he reads this i will let you all know how he gets on atvbmac

    Will do davy hope fully he will be as good with a springer as he is with a pcp as iv just put a prosport 22 in a wall nut stock away for my self but iv got a feeling im not going to have a chance to shoot it and when he was shooting darryls he hit every thing he aimed at you never know he may be the one to give pianoman a run for his money :laugh: atvbmac

    I know some juniors who are more than happy to kill rabbits, pigeons etc then present them to a responsible adult for conversion into meals. Some of those are children of members here. Why shouldn't they say what they have been doing at school? After all it is not illegal, of benefit to food production in the countryside and at least gives them an understanding of where food comes from? You have got that in one mole and at least you know where they are and he has allredy told his teacher that he go,s shooting with his grandad but that is at the range he will soon be out in the field once he

    I had a few shots of the vermanater to day at the range and its a cracking rifle darrel even gave me and my grandson (littlehunter ) a few shots of his daystate and i must say what a rifle that is he even let little hunter have a go of his prosport at witch he was better with than a pcp wich as im sure darrel will conferm its all my grandson taked about on the way home that and that darrel let him have a go of a £1700 rifle love the vid and thanks for making my grandsons day atvbmac

    Cheers bud cant wait until he is a bit older so he can have a go at the clays with a shoty,iv alredy got a shooting buddy but i dont think he will mind little hunter tagging along with us vislauk is a cracking shot and with what he knows and me i think he will come along very nicely and with a little help off some of the lads on here and i think vislauk is looking forwerd to teaching him i know i am and its nice to see you and your son get along so well at least you know where he is at the weekends altvb to the both of you ,mac

    Hi davy iv had a talk to his mam and dad and there happy for him to stay on here but they are going to keep a close eye on what he looks at and i know that most of the photos are graphic of the pray we shoot but if he is going to be a hunter then he is going to have to get used to it as part of his learnig kerv and as for the avatar pics well i think my new one is better than the last one atvbmac

    Just to let you all know that LITTLE HUNTER is my grandson and has joined the forum but he will be watched every time he comes on by me or his dad to see what he is posting (dont want to upset eny one)as he is only 8years of age but a cracking shot so as soon as he gets his new rifle me and sean (vislauk) are going to take him to one of our farms to teach him all we know about hunting thanks lads atvbmac :thumbs: :thumbs:

    Thanks lads well ethan as soon as you get your rifle im taking you up to one of the farms for your first rabbit shoot and thats where you will learn all about hunting and clean kills as in one shot one kill me and your uncle sean are going to teach you all we know we will have to get you some camo gear and a gun lamp atvb grandad mac

    Well lads we have had a change of mind after the post that mole put up on here about shortening the stock on the s200 so we went back to the shop and gave him a bsa ultra to try and its a perfect size for him so now he is getting an ultra single shot with tactical stock in 22 cheers mole as the s200 was to long for him as he still has a bit to grow yet atvb mac
