    A week to the show and nearly all set to go, just a few minor things to sort, setting most things up on the Saturday then having a bevvy (or 2) on the show field with the campers. Hope there's a change in the weather, here's praying for a nice day.

    Hi mate, just got it confirmed for camping if you want to pitch up Saturday. Got a few others staying on the show field too. Port-a-loo's will be on site but sorry no water or electric.

    Talking to B&F at the Welsh Game Fair, the 'new' red box has 3 aeriels inside, 1 runs the length top to bottom, 1 runs the width left to right and the other runs the depth from front to back, this is to give as much accuracy as possible to search and find. The collar signal runs through the length from the red connector to the black and extends in that straight line so the box will take you to the signal line before taking you in towards the dog. I enter the dog, put the box over the hole and wait for either the reading to settle down or baying then I move in.

    I'm sure I can try and sort something out mate, a few lads from Yorkshire are on about camping too, just to get the nod off the farmer and the National Trust. If not there's loads of camping grounds nearby. Can't provide water or electric though. Leave it with me

    Whippet champion qualifies for Chirk and EDRD

    We have à pure bred pup class which doesn't qualify for pup champion, we have whippet dog and whippet bitch, champion whippet for one of the trophies above which remains with the club but the winner gets a salva memtento to keep and also qualifiés for our best in show, also doing a whippet race with trophy/memento

    Our show, racing and coursing trophies arrived today. All trophies will remain with the club after photographs have been taken and the small salva's in their presentation box wiil be kept by the winners as a memento. Rosettes to 4th in all classes, racing and coursing.

    Had to move fields for some reason so we will now be through Ffostrasol on the A486 into Bwlchygroes and the field is on the left as you leave the village. They'll be signs outside the gate entrance.

    Our next race night is to be held on Friday 7th June at Ffostrasol SA44 4TA off the A486 6pm start with rosettes for 1st - 4th in all catergory finals Bring your lurchers, terriers, young and old, experienced or inexperienced and give them a run on the lure. All running lurchers must be muzzled. Our monthly meeting is to be held in the Ffostrasol Arms after at around 8pm.     Went to it for 1st time last year and will be there again this. As been said - grassroots/old school but a well run little show
