  1. i'm just outside of yeovil mate, it will be me and my old man if that is okay and yeah if we can get permission we will get insurance it relatively cheap i believe:)

  2. im not shooting for shootings sake i quite like the idea of killing and eating your own food none of that plastic wrapped supermarket shite that you can pick up so its not as if i was just going to be shooting and chucking them away well i will with the rooks cause i'm not eating them pigeons are tasty though:) didnt mean to give the impression of killing stuff for the sake of it ill take it for the pot as long as its edible
  3. and yes it would millsy44 hence why i said hypothetically as farmers do talk and all it would take is one to catch you and a few phone calls later and bam! there goes any chance of getting a permission in the local area and no im not going to risk it i would be completely gutted and all for a few poxy rabbits with mixy i think i will give it a miss
  4. looks like i will have to be persistent with the farmer offer to help him out around the place for a spot of shooting cant say fairer than that can he. and if that fails it will be Wilkinson buy a bird table and some cheap bread and lure all the local pigeons crows rooks ect ect and then it will be goodnight mr birdy( well when there young have left the nest im not a complete ) until i can get some permision beggars cant be choosers
  5. okay, so i was just wondering what would happen if i went shooting in a field i didnt have permission on ? so lets say hypothetically that there is a field 5 min's walk from my front door and in that field there was a perfect natural hide overlooking a quite frankly huge rabbit warren sadly though most of these older rabbits have got a bad case of mixy but anyway i was wondering if i went down there without any permission before sunrise and stayed there till sunset to avoid being seen but someone walked past and saw me and reported it to the police without me knowing and the cops walked ro
  6. hahahahahha, you feeling slightly sour about this situation i guess.
  7. cheers guys, i have just been on my local gun shop website and the price difference is a lot less then i originally thought so i am going to do a few more weeks saving and go with the r-10 as it looks alot nicer and more tougher than the ultra. thanks guys
  8. so i have had my bsa lighting for a year or so now and i am really struggling to get along with it partly because its just so damn loud when out in the field with it so i have decided to go for a pcp rifle and my current bsa is mechanicly sound has never let me down so im going to get another bsa and was wondering if anyone else has got either bsa ultra multi-shot or the bsa R-10 mk2 and what they though about it. i am leaning more towards the ultra because of the price difference but i would like to know what you all thought of both the guns. cheers all.
  9. i have just google'd it and it would appear that if you dog was in a secure yard or garden and the cat shouldnt be in there then you are not responsible if your dog kills it
  10. pahahahaha im in stitches with this, we had the same problem and we just let the dogs chase them round and round and round untill the stupid ***** scaled the fence and ran off this only happend a few times it helps when you sit down quietly behind something and run at them screaming they soon realise that there are not wanted and if that fails "accidently " cut its front leg off with a strimmer so i cant climb the fence. horrid little flea bags sh****ng evrywhere

  13. i was wondering if any of the members would kindly let me and possibly a good friend tag along with them when they go out shooting for rabbits or any other vermin with an air rifle in the somerset or dorset area would be much appriecated as we are not very experienced with live game especially rabbits and would like to get some expeirence before we try to get our own permission. cheers all.
