Fair play to him Bry, it certainly feels different once the light has gone!

    How did you get on?

    I had 4small eyed ray and 5 smooth hounds. Nothing big(about 6lb)

    Good fun though.
There’s some big porgies about up here at the minute. I had visions of him getting towed round the bay screaming.

You do realise that if you take Fin he’s going to get the biggest and never let you forget about it. ?

How are the beaches for access?

Just after a nice chilled holiday with a nice beach, decent places for grub & drink and a nice bit of sight seeing.

Tbf I'm not really in to my fishing but never say never.

The nearest beach is the one I put in the picture. That’s about a steady 5/10 minute walk depending on where you are on the site.
There’s mother ivys ,Constantine, boobys bay, treyarnon bay,Porthcothan, all lovely beaches and a short drive from Harlyn.
Camel estuary is nice and has a good beach (Tregirls). Camel trail is a bike ride along the River if you’re feeling energetic.
Loads of places to eat roundabouts.
Nice pubs all over the area.

You proposed Harlyn so booked on without really looking in to it.

Any info would be appreciated on the area.

    ?
It’s a fair size site mate with a clubhouse on it so you can have a beer.
We never really used the on site facilities much as we were always out and about.
It’s good for the kids as there’s a park area and it’s a walk down a track to the beach.
Plenty of walks straight from the site and plenty of fishing locally.
Padstow is a five minute drive away if you fancy it but it’s very busy most of the time.
Not sure what you are wanting to do.

  9. Harlyn Sands caravan and camping is worth a look mate.
Easy access to Harlyn bay down a path from the site.
Loads of camping in the summer as they open up a field below the site for camping and tourers.
