Theres one on youtube seems a decent ferreting dog mate, ive a staff that i broke to ferrets. Give it a try and see how it goes. I prefer ferreting with a dog enjoy bolting them to the dogs and make it alot easier not netting up empty sets
-
Ring him at least and ask how he got this one and ask why your dog is the pic? Seems fishy to me
-
Very nice mate atb with them

Fair play for getting them good on ya

I wouldn't go for the starter kit mate just buy the stuff u need separate you get more for your money. I get all my stuff from agouti and used tegaters videos to learn haven't been doing it that long once you get the hang of it it's easy enough. Kills a few hours and saves money buying nets and when a rabbit hits a net you have made makes it even better

Wouldn't mind heading around there with a dog and ferret or lamp some amount of rabbits
-
when is everybody starting back ferreting

Well thats it then........google is now evidence ....makes you wonder why the rspca havent used google all these years of dangerous dogs act court cases !!..... You carry on using google as your guide mate....i,ll carry on using a lifetime with and around the breeds as my guide.........im keeping out of this now i think it will be far more entertaining from the outside watching in Not using google as my evidence mate may not have as much experience around the breed as you do but I've had enough to distinguish a pit from a staff. As for experience around the breed my family has had plent

With all due respect, how could you possibly be so sure a dog is or is not an American Pit Bull Terrier from 1 sideways on photograph ?.......... As regards this Irish Staff stuff......its not a recognised breed of dog and a lot of supposed " Irish Staff " blood came from England..............................calling them " A Little Bit Bigger Staffs " would be more accurate than calling them Irish Staffs.....not quite as catchy name i know but................. To be honest it's quite clear that it's a pit or a pit cross. The height, length of body and head shape are all give always. I'm 10

Same here If ive understood many of Stabs posts in the past mate he,s laughing at you not with you ...............the fact you are 100 % sure you can tell a staff from a pit bull by the shape of its head and length of its body tells me a lot about your understanding.........this kc reg staff you posted a picture of,what happens if people breed staffordshire bull terriers but dont breed them within kc guidelines ?......do they suddenly become a different breed ?.........if i bred 10 generations of big size Yorkshire Terriers they wont look like Yorkshire Terriers but in blood they are a

Mate if you search any breed or so called breed into that site and it will come up. Labradoodle for example lol. So Irish staff still no such thing. That's not a staff btw bud it's a pit no doubt call it what you want but it's a pit no matter where you bought it

Cracking pups mate -
I think you may be wrong there Irish staffs have there own ikc breed standard so there is such a thing http://www.fci.be/uploaded_files/076g03-en.doc Follow link from ikc site. Seems to me breed standard is the standard no matter where it's from.
-
No you got a staff from ireland. If u wana call it am Irish staff then go ahead but a kc reg ikc reg or any staff from anywhere all have the same breed description. There should be no different characteristics from where you get it from
-
I think you may be wrong there There are staffs from Ireland just like anywhere else in the world. As said a staff is a staff
-
Where do u get that from if you are referring to gameness each dog is an individual. People often mistake pits for Irish staffs. A staff is a staff wherever it's from the popularity of staffs are on the increase in Australia so are there Aussie staffs with different temperaments. Edit to say above comment spot on mate
