I know nothing of what this place holds though I'd imagine anything that's in the Trent would (while the water levels up as it is) be in here..I haven't seen grass carp,these were all mirrors and commons.no need to prebait on the quiet,not seen a soul here before..went down again y'day to chuck a bit in but didn't see a thing but I'm sure they'll find it.bone!
  2. Half a kg of boilies? I'm thinking 5kg of particles and a kilo bag of tigers pre baited over the next few nights then fish sat-sun.I'll keep ya posted.!!

Any normal double tier rabbit hutch will do for 2 or 3 ferts,a run of any size will do really but never put it on grass else you'll find them missing the next day after they've dug themselves out..In the run put a hammock,tubes and things for them to climb up etc,you can't go far wrong with that set up,!
  7. White/grey talons can be caused by a nutritional deficiency.A good varied diet of docs,quail,rat etc should be fed.It will grow out once the balance has been restored...Other than that I'm stumped?!?!

Hi all..A good friend and old army buddy of mine is a doing a charity walk round the whole coast of Britain in aid of help for hero's.Its is a mammoth challenge of over 6500 miles in 18(ish) months and living only out of his bergan and sleeping on a roll mat under a poncho EVERY night what ever the weather.He's currently on Anglesey after starting from Blackpool 21 days ago.All I ask is if any of you costal falconers/hawkers see a nutter walking round with a huge backpack with a union jack flying above it please stop say hi and offer him a brew or good sip out your hip flask.He's doing an amaz

    Getting Footed

    I chop my meat up into small mouthful sizes before we go out then I can just call him in with a titbit every time.He eats it,sits up and is ready in seconds and off we go again..Never had me yet.

  20. Hi! Not posted for a while. Think about what you are doing and what you are trying to achieve. Then the best possible way, to go about getting the required result. You can have the birds flying free together within an hour, without any mishaps if you think about it.

  22. Yeah we tried em again yesterday from the fist at bolted rabbits too.....mine totally ignored the rabbit did a big arc and dive bombed the other so he's going to stay at my mates for the rest of the week with the other bird - wish me luck.!!
  23. Yeah there enterd,mine will take rabbit and the other is mental and take owt that moves ha ha..will give it a go for a few days and see how they get on (better warn the neighbours there may be some noise)..thanks.!
