Sorry to hear your bad news Paddy , but like skycat says , follow the vets instructions a bit of tlc when he feels sorry for himself and you,ll be suprised how quickly and completly he will recover , whippets are lots tougher than people think, don,t hesitate to get in touch if theres anything I can do . Fair enough, but next time just try saying that. Like "hey dan nice bunch of kids, glad to see they are with the dogs and not with the X-Box" I just didnt get "they look like they could chew paint off the walls" and the Dark alley comment. It amazes me , that with all the knowledge and technology that they have at their fingertips , the people who run the game don,t seem to have grasped that with any athlete rest is as important as any other part of thier training , they seem to want their pound of flesh 12 months a year , yes it,s experience of tournament football , but at what cost ?

I think it all depends on motive , If you go to the authorities out of jealousy , spite ,personal gain , or to save your own skin , your a prick , if your a law abiding victim what other recourse is there . Personally I haven,t always been law abiding therefore I think I,v lost any right to use the police , I sort my own problems out , but I have no problem with LAW ABIDING people relying on the police , providing it,s for the right motive .
