I was dug into the Misses at one minute past twelve,it lasted two minutes and I got a result(for me)am I in the final???
That won’t count as it wasn’t a fox ,it was probably a beaver, and two minutes couldn’t have been much of a dig,lol

I've just googled that WFand it doesn't sound like mine has those symptoms but thanks anyway.
I have a lab that does that, the outcome was a bug called giardia, I hope I’m 100% wrong because you can’t get rid of it,it can be controlled with panacur but what a hassle I have with it,atb wf,

I would have thought that common sense would prevail and instead of fannying about trying this and that method aim lower

There’s a bit you grease on it ,I think it’s underneath the main body near to where the worm goes in,I can’t remember exactly you have to turn it upside down,wf

He might mean down the way, vertical drop?

spot on,but remember to watch out for the odd stoat as it will go up and down your finger like someone playing a mouth organ, and it hurts,wf3 properly placed drop boxes is your best option dig them in in there runs under fence or wall..keep door locked for 5 or so days then unlease the pin..muliple catch and ambush trap..more fieldcratt involved tho.

put some wheat in them
Can I ask how you use them then?I already have few live catch traps and have used many times them with a very good catch rate.
Because most posts here seem to find them rather limiting. I have used in a domestic garden with carrot as bait in/around trap - but mice seem to take them. Have used in fields with the traps set to catch rabbits as they run for home, but again limited success.
Would love some top tips Torquemada

Two terriers in an earth hole, there ain't the room for two of them to work a fox,two in a rock pile or cairn can be a different matter,I'm sure when these old terrier men / huntsmen talk about worrying a fox is to have it killed, always one terrier for the job,atb wf

The only time you. Will need to show a dsc ticket in Scotland is to sell them to the game dealer,a mate of mine has land he shoots red deer on and he lives south of the border, just get them dealt with, atb wf

Good to hear it's sorted

that won't always be the case as you will have went from terrierman to huntsman, anyway go for it,atb wfThe main reason I was thinking of this cross the cover can be real heavy down my way and foxhounds can be very slow to draw trough it. I'd just like a tougher hunting hound. I'd want them steadier and slower than a hound that they would be easier keep up with out in open country. The main reason for having these would be for more digging for my terriers. So don't no weather to gamble and do this or get 5 or 6 slow steady hounds that are gone a bit slow for the pack

possibly lack of terrier for tongueHad some Welsh x Sringer hounds about 10 year ago. Brought 4 dogs& a bitch from Wales. The dog was big rough like a Welsh, the rest were smooth built like Springer. All turned out excellent hunting dogs but totally mute.

If you have x and y at 0 then bore sight it with adjustable mounts it can be done with one shot, but you will always fire another shot to make sure it hits the bull,at wf

make sure he lets the fish drain of cooking oil before he serves it to you,I sometimes stayed above the chippy in Golspie the lad who owned it was called roger,it's his son who has it now, last time i was there it was a case of as soon as it's ready get it in the box and and out the door instead of letting it drain for a few minutes,up the road a bit is Helmsdale good chippy there also, tab wf
Thanks , i'll be in Brora , 2 miles or so from Golspie . Great chip shop in golspie , the best fish supper .
Used to do a lot of lamping around dornoch golspie etc, always used to get permission fairly easily, good luck with the move.

You are only gonna get what you pay for,if it was a name like Charnwood or stovax or yeoman then it will last for years and years ,regarding log size make sure it takes several 290mm logs and not a 290 log, what is the internal size,wf
