  3. ordered a yukon 6.5 yesterday came this morning well pleased with the speed of delivery, but it went back has quick, the menu button not working, anybody else had issues with them recently, this is the first one i have had problems with.
  4. I can almost guarantee the next delivery won't be in 6 weeks. There's a couple of new 17 hornets on guntrader though. cheers mate, why is it you have to wait a life time or put up with second best in this country then get charged over the odds I blame the EU. Don't go for second best. Hold on for the exact model you're looking for. I had to wait 6 months for my 22 hornet. Well worth the every second of the wait. well i have took your advice and ordered the one i am after, so the long has started

  7. I have been ringing some firearms dealers after a cz 17 hornet american thumb hole they are like rocking horse sh*t, been told end of November, one dealer said i would be better getting a 223 as they have trouble getting the ammo for the hornet.??? I found a varmint laminated thumb hole for £695, Savage model 25 synthetic for £675, i believe the american weight is lighter than the varmint can anybody tell me the difference between the 2 and the weight of the savage models any info would be good. Don't fancy carrying more weight than i have to not a big chap and not getting any younger lol
  8. happy days got me licence back, 17 hornet granted not bad all done and dusted in under 2 weeks, will be off spending me money soon
  9. Is it possible to use the same yukon photon on 2 different rifles with quick release mounts, i no the POI,windage and elevation would be different on each rifle, but if you made a note of each one once zeroed in, would this work ? do any of you shooters do this ? if so what mounts do you use ?
  10. what is in your opinion the best 17 hornet or should i say efficient cz etc , what barrel length ? all information would be good, will be in the market for one soon
  11. That's what most first time "closed" tickets are like now. I don't know of anyone limited to one bit of land. Thanks for the info. I know a few guys a while back were restricted to only the land they had with their application and had to send in the written permission for new permissions gained so they could be added to their ticket. But then I know Essex can be a little over zealous with their conditions! We will see when it turns up I guess! Essex are the slowest force in the country at the moment. I think having to add each new piece of land to a ticket was becoming a pain in the arse
  12. questions answered. Is it form 202 application to vary, that i fill in ?
  13. cheers for all that info very interesting, like i said thinking of a 17 hornet i no it will be up to the job for fox but would a 222 be better ?
  14. that sound good to me Shropshire dan can not be doing with all the fuss of land checked again.
  15. Hi i hold a open ticket for a 17 hmr. thinking of putting in for a 17 hornet would this go down as a closed or open ticket with it being a higher caliber.
  16. send all shotgun details along with name and address ticket number who you brought it from to fire arms department with in 7 days , no need to send you ticket, the details of gun should of been filled in on you ticket by the person you brought it off. they have to do the same
