Oh bugger if you wernt so far away i would have swapped a jill for him
Never mind Kay, He is an absolute corker, who ever has him will be over the moon..
Have just taken in a the brother to my hob, he is a poley well handled, and soft as butter, not a biter ! He has also been vasectomised earlier last year. As I have his brother who is also done, I don't really another hoblet. Will exchange him for a nice small jill. Am in the S.West (Plymouth) PM if interested.
You will soon know if he is well handled, I have generally found hobs are a little less fiery than jills, a bit more laid back. Might be a good starting point for you.
Darren,
As said by most of the others, do you your background reading, as seems that you are attempting to do. I am sure nothing negative was meant by some comments. Bare in mind that a large majority of the guys on here have been involved with all things country for many years with alot of years experience, and I for one often forget what it was like starting out.. and asking what other thought were lame questions !! Also try to get out with a local ferreter to gain the experience of handling and working ferrets.
IMO I think if possible you'd be better to keep two ferrets instead
Bloody Marvellous.. two sporting girls getting stuck in. Every rabbiting man's dream come true ! well, until they start to show the fella's up.. Good on ya girls, looks like a good day.
You'd be better contacting Bridport nets re: Longnets, poles etc.. just my opinion, I find them spot on with regard to prices and service. Not really the best time of year to get secondhand net bargains.
Hi Guys,
Going to start making me own rabbit purse nets again, though I haven't bought any materials for a few years, can anyone let me know of a good, reasonably priced supplier of net making materials..
cheers,
Devonlad
Have two mates with Navarra's both have had no end of trouble, one with transmission and the other the engine. I would consider a Toyota, or my personal favourite the Land Rover, should get a really nice TD for that sort of money.
