    iv had the 170 dimmer switch one for a couple of years now and never had a single problem! its the buisness in my oppinion perfect for foxing, makes rabbits squat good too, my advice would be too invest in one matey you wont go wrong with them

    what makes you all think that the bull x is the be all and end all? there about as fast as a rottweiler, theyv got the turning circle of a lorry, plus everybody expects them too be this big mean dog with the jaw as powerful as a lions nd they ant that big mean dog half the time, seen goodens and badens but iv seen better beddy crosses on teeth than bull crosses and as for that lad saying once a bull cross gets hold of summert yano its not getting away, any dog wether it be collie cross or bull cross if itnails a charlie and the charlie manages to get away the dog ant a charlie dog full stop iv

    which way the dogs bred ,like the look of big rough dog beddy greyhound, then the fawn pup in the photos is my bitch pick of the litter out of that breeding so there her mum and dad gunna be a powerful bitch really heavy thanks for that so what would that mak the fawn pup shes beddy greyhound with a splash of whippet in there, cant wait too get her going no holding her back at the minute killed her first rat at 4 months old ripped a mixxy rabbit too bits and had another rat other day, all by accident just on a dog walk shes hard mouthed but for what i want her for im not real

    little dogs with big hearts, game as f**k, some fast but tend not too be the fastest stick on there quarry well very good at turning some have decent stamina mine doesnt though, but they'll tackle anything in the right hands, good on rabbit, not the best on hare fairly good on munty but will run through a fire for something with sharp teeth they love them

    fare enough pal not a big fan of collie crosses my brothers got a bedy collie grey and a beddy whip collie grey and so far so good but i like a thicker dog like my beddy whip grey. not saying dont use a collie cross cus they do make good dogs just in my oppinion there not the best on charley but with that being illegal i surpose it dont really mate atb

    no better cross forrabbits than a 1st cross beddy whippet mines a ryt game little f****r excels on rabbit. mad for rats and tries too tackle bigger stuff just not heavy enough. have a good hard think about wat yu want one for though mate as lurchers can live upto 14 or more years and although you want one for just rabbiting now as you progress on you might want too move onto a bigger nastier quarry ... basically im saying donrush into the wrong dog for your needs

    every dog is different its all down too personal choice not personal quarry, i think the majority of us would pick a bigger dog over a smaller dog but that isnt too say the bigger dog will be better iv seen big dogs catch rabbits better than smaller dogs and iv seen little dogs handle charlies better than bigger dogs, like i said its personal oppinion i dont care how big my dogs make aslong as they do the job

    your proberly right in what your saying but i know of people who big there 25" dogs up and make them out too be the best dog on the planet?? my mates got a beddy whippet grey that stands 20" and it puts any other dog iv seen too shame on charley yes 'even' bull crosses

    agree iv flown birds of prey for a good few years, harris hawk for the majority then onto the goshawk everytime i went out people would ask questions and ask for photos etc etc, but when im out with my lurchers they seem to looke down there noses at me :\

    course he can do charley, any cross can but wether it will want too or not you are going too have too find out for yourself, wouldnt bother showing him a charley in his first season double him up with an experianced dog in your dogs second season or try him on cubs first?? atb

    edie x max lines only please fellas cheers for the replies though, my pups 6months old stands 21 and 1/2" will make 22 to 23 i reckon been easy too train recall etc not done much with her other than socializing with all my mates dogs alot, gunna be a fairly powerful bitch really thick boned and massive head got hold of mixxy rabbit at 4 months old and ripped it too bits in a matter of seconds not a neccasarily good sign but atleast shes got it in her, can be abit aggressive towards other dogs if they approach her wrong but im hoping ill get that out of her, but like i said looking for people

    so much shit spreads on this site! cant believe how many people are saying a collie grey whip is a better cross pure whippets are more than capable of taking fox single handed and seem too have the nack of taking them on the throat from the underneath, they just lack in top end speed
