  1. Hi Mary, This is Sue Owens nan. I cannot believe all this rubbish what has been going on. Especially after it was just a comment about BASC or whichever it was. Totally uncalled for in my opinion. We dont post much only a few of owens exploits when we go to my sons in oxfordshire, but we do readall the posts on here, me especially before I go to work. Both you and Mike keep your chins up, Sue

  2. Real good shooting guys. All the best in Canada Si. Will look forward to seeing you when you get back. Owen
  3. Hi all, I havn't posted for a while as I have not had much to shoot on our farm, but I've been doing a lot of target practice and HFT on a sunday morning. I was out doing target practice this afternoon after I got back from my dads and as I was walking back to the house a big feral pigeon landed on the stable roof. I leant up on the closest wall and took aim it was about 30metres so I gave it 1 mil dot holdover and took it through the neck, It didnt even flap its wings it just fell like a stone I think its the cleanest kill I have done on a pigeon. I was using RWS Superfields 22
  4. I am very lucky my uncle Mark (mark vining) is the Farm Manager at Newbottle Farm, So we go up there as often as we can and its great for ratting also for bunnies. Owen

  15. Hi all, I just bought an Air Arms s200 mk 3 in 22 . I got it from York Guns and I took my 20 bore semi auto shotgun to part exchange. I also bought the multishot kit for it and some camo gun tape. I have a Hawke SR6 4-16x50 AO IR which I have fitted onto it. I took it today to my local air gun club which is at Roos not far from me, and I was very pleased with the results even though it was very windy. Owen

  20. I've started using H&N for HFT comps but someone said to try crossman's premier they are super accurate my HW100 loves them. Just recently i bought about 5 or 6 different types of pellets, AA field, AA Hunter just to mention a few and did a accuracy test at different ranges and different air pressures and the crossman's premier came out top. They're well worth a go. mark vining

  25. Hi All We got to Marks early afternoon on saturday and while he was still at work I went and zero'd my Ultra and did bit of plinkin. When he got back from work I put me and my grandads YUKON NVRS-F Tactical NV on my Ultra and Mark put his NV on his hw 100kt and we zero'd the guns Marks wasn't that far off but mine was wayout. After we had tea about 7pm we headed out onto the farm, to do a bit of ratting but first of all we had to get a shower and a full change of clothes in the changing area(the clothes and boots were far too big for me but 4 pairs of socks made the boots ok) We lo
