    Hi there ,, i was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to calibrate or check the readings are correct on this type of chrono.i have had this one a little while but i am starting to doubt what im reading.i had my S200 in for a repair and was with the shop owner when he checked my gun, it was reading 11.2 ft/lbs at 160bar , but when i checked it on the combro im getting 10.2ft/lbs at 160 bar, i then checked my mates gun and it was reading 9 ft/lbs , just want to check if there a check /calibration for these or somewhere they can be sent to for this before i go and blow the last of my cash

    hi, nice shooting there mate,im interesred in the night vision set up you have ,what do these cost and what type are they , these would be very useful i recon on one of my permissions , there a massive rabbit problem in one of the fields but its very near a dual carridge way and not suitable for lamping ,this could be the answer.     hi there , im i correct in thinking the daystate is a right hand stock,if so i would be interested in the aa s200,and the pump if you would consider posting,you say the condition is fair ,is the blueing in good condition as i can refinish the stock no probs ,could you pm me some pics if you would like to consider posting,im looking for a hunting pcp and the s200 fits the bill. cheers peter

    Hi Stu , if you want some practice why dont you go along to the dumferline airgun club is not far from you , it opens on sundays from 11 oclock , they have a web page , you can go as a visitor and you will meet loads of airgiunners who know there stuff and are willing to help you , i would go along and learn what your limitations are and how to handle your gun before you go hunting , they have a couple of ranges with various knock down targets that are great for getting your eye in and getting your gun zeroed etc. hope this is a help to you .     i replaced the breech seal yesterday and the v-mach tuing kit is only 6months old ,would strip down and total degrease and clean and regrease make any differance and could the spring guide be fouling somewhere as its very thin alloy and been in and out a few times now whilst i try to fix this , what should i expect from this springer as i know it should be better than what im getting , i just want a 11.5ft/lbs consistant rifle that i can hunt with , i dont feel confident the way it is now for hunting.

    im gonna take your advice and just try and enjoy my permission ,il check it in a week or two and see where we are , i just like things to be right .i have spent more time fettling this week than shooting so im gonna try and enjoy . cheers

    if i remember correctly i think the fps varied by about 11 fps from lowest to highest , it used to be no more than 6,i cleaned and regreased it all tonight so i dont think that would be the problem as it was doing it before i stripped it. im thimking it could be the spring sleeve that comes with the tuning kit maybe causing a prob , dont know why ,just cant think what else it could be

    i know what your saying ,and after all the tinkering tonight it may settle more once i get a couple hundred pellets through it , as iv just got a my first couple of permission and im going to be out on others land i want it to be right and within the law , am i right in thinking that if its inconsistent my hold over etc at longer ranges will be effected,and for hunting purposes thats a worry

    fitted a new breech seal tonight, made no diffrence , im i expecting to much from a springer all be it a bloody good one

    ive been using rws superdomes for a while as the gun likes them, on a test with ten pellets the readings are about 11.5 but an odd one will go to 11.8 which puts my average up, some are 11.3 . its a big diffrence between the highest and the lowest, this was never the case before . i was at my gun club at the weekend and cronoed my gun on the club crono and it was 11,5 ish but there was a high reading on one at 11.88 which is to high for comfort

    Hi there ,im hoping someone can offer me some suggestions of how to fix my Hw97k,firstly i put a v mach tuning kit in it and once it was ran in it was great,very consistent at about 11.6ft/lbs, i crono it regular on my combro crono , now its started to give really strange readings , its varying between 11.1 and 11.7 and all over the place :wallbash: , no 2 shots the same ,i stripped it down and checked everything ,cleaned and re-greased every thing and rebuilt it and now it slightly better but not where it used to be and not as consistent . can anyone tell me how there hw97k perform and ar

    Hey there , nice pictures mate, your permission looks great to, im still trying to get a permission at the momement. i can tell you its cold up here to , was minus 12 a few nights ago and been below freezing for over a month ,getting sick off it now
