    just got a beautiful saluki/grey/collie he is great any advice for a first time lurcher owner.

    i am thinking about getting a lurcher for ferreting and lamping it will be mostly on stubble and new grown crops.talking to a guy the other day and he has got whippet/grey/collie she is brill still does a few runs on rabbits.

    try wax from a candle it works a treat but if it dosn,t stick with beanut butter trail it through the trap.

    try and handle them every day but make sure they dont get bored and make sure they get use to your smell and are not hungry

    the best thing to do is just introduce them to each other slowly and it also dependes on what temperment the ferrets are i have got five ferrets they are alright with my terrier except one
