did you get that from other posts or have you seen billy work or jack yourself ? the last week I've phoned round a few people i know trying to find out about the breeding of a friends bitch, in conversations they have confirmed what has been said on here,the dog has been pasted around on trial,and pasted back the dog looks like he's done the business but its because it goes in fights like hell then walks off, so at least the dog looks the part, but why would anyone use a dog like this for stud unless its for looks? has anyone seen this dog work and able to contradict what I've been tol

Why is Bulldog blood in many working Terriers? there has always been some out-crossing and to small bull terrier types but a earthdog is not a pit-dog, i received a pm telling me you have just bred a litter of puppies out of two untested puppies and you have only had terriers 18 months tops, is this true ?

i haven't been to a terrier show for a long time don't buy magazines so I'm a bit out of touch, a young lad that digs with us is mad on these smooth bull terrier type fells,mini staff his looks like, to top it off its not even bred the way he was told , and now i read quotes on pit bull breeding aimed at earthdog breeding and people using a stud dog "billy" that will only do twenty minutes ! is it a chav thing creeping into the game,has the world gone bull-terrier mad ?

No mate ,i would dig a hole and start again . Its the same with all genes 2 litter brothers one works good he has the genes, if the other doesnt work good he doesnt carry the genes same with bitches if not passed directly they wont filter through a dog/bitch could be a jacker/cur but can reproduce the best game dogs ever..they either have a great reproducing gene or not..how many times have great digging dogs throw pure dirt in their offspring.. some of the best blood lines in the apbt world have been based on curs i.e bullyson Satin Lady has threw Alligator, and she was cold.

jesus why put her in pup if she fails ..............PTS I think it's not so easy to say. It could be succesful if all other is compatible. I know some examples in APBT-breeding. But generally, ...don't do it. sounds like you would breed from untested terriers, what do you keep and are they working earth dogs ?

was only asking as a friend has a bitch mainly wheeler and a line back to meg which is 2 and a bit slow, but if this meg has had between 40 and 50 pups i should think there will be, the good, the bad and the ugly! i just wonder when the bitch had time off rearing pups to work Y.I.S MOD

Rob booth, has over the years produced some great working dogs, he's good company and spins a good yawn,he reinvents himself and his dogs with every time he moves, will breed like to like and add the pedigrees later,and will breed to order one bitch had 2 litters a year for at least 7 years,as long as you don't take him as seriously as he takes himself he's ok. to sum up, can't fault his terriers how ever they may breed, but he is a bullshiter, billy liar but a few stories over a few drinks can't do any harm ha ha

some of the best working borders are breed in north west wales, they have a touch of J.P. fells in them, but there single handed workers, great finders and stayers, working some of the roughest mountains in the UK, stay away from kc breed stuff there full of faults the main one being they don't work,you still get a one off worker from KC stuff but they rarely pass it on to there pups and even if mated to working lines they add more bad than good, worker to worker, f**k the show dogs

money money money, this dog has a genetic fault the bitch will carry the fault, as if the border doesn't have enough problems, can't you just give them to mates make sure there not breed from! at least you could see if they work.. there again some people will sell on any old shit money money money I'd keep away from these freaks going to cost you down the line, no good to start a line or add to a line, and lots of vet bills

Ive had a few off him, over the years, the main problem if it's a problem!!! there a bit hard, great finders and stayers, sound man sound terriers,but like every line it depends on who's working them,there more fool than ever in the game!some couldn't enter a whore without help, never mind getting a terrier to work

if the FMWTC isn't doing its job for you, then start your own, two of the best areas the FMWTC once had have broken away, the durham club and the north wales, but don't forget a club is only as good as its members
