    im in the same position with my 11 month old pup. if it wasent for these crappy short light nights ide be out every night of the week till he clicked on. i might just have to see what its like tonight. just praying for a decent bit of cloud cover now!

    the pup in my avatar is also wearing a SS collar he is 11 ish months. the saluki is only just coming up 8 months so i think it will look better when she grows abit. it dosent really look that big in the flesh it was just that picture made it look stupid. plus there all out of shape with being wrapped up so i left them loose while they settle into shape then ill tighten them up a notch.

    i know the saluki is over kill. i did as for 3 ply nice and light but it came 5. hopefullys she will grow into it abit. (just checked its only 4 ply) ive got them very loose around there necks also which dosent help the look in the pics. removed the last pic so i dont look so much of a cock lol.

    orderd another 2 collars and lead set from strongstuff at 10pm sunday night and they arrived first thing this morning. good price, fast service and top quality. few pics. my bull my little saluki x thanks.

    i got 5. 2 pups coming on. 1 lurcher retired (pet). 1 bull, wants to work lol 1 EBT total waste of space(pet). all live in the house.

    think most of us would have a house full if we had the work for them and don,t see the point of having dogs if yoy don,t have the work for them ,nealy walk out with the black bitch when i went 2 look at these pups but iknow i don,t have the work for anymore dogs so it would be stupid of me to do that ,and duke doing fine jenky mate like the pups, and glad your dog the (sire) is getting better.     yes mate thats exactly what it was, he has had a couple of bunnys now and he really goes for it. he had very little interest in the lure. it was only my second ever game fair so for me it was nice to see so many dogs and meets some like minded ppl so for me it was a decent day. i went home and dropped the pups off half way threw and came back with my bull for something todo. i spent most of the time letting him jump in the lake in the afternoon lol.

    if thats the one i think it was there was 2 of them. 2 lasses walking them together. that one and a white one. all i want is a nice little whippet now after seeing all those wicked wee dogs today. a few nice bull x about but i dont have and never really will have need of a big powerful dog like that.

    had a little black and tan saluki (8 month) and the chocolate lurcher in my avatar (11 month). had a black cap on with sunglasses most of the day till i lost them lol.

    hi mate, think i saw you and your pup today. i was at the lure racing trying to get my pup intrested but he wasent really fussed. he had 2 runs on it and was pathetic on both. you wouldent think he had ever chased a bunny before the way he just plodded up the run! i seen them big wolf hounds, nice pair, looked alittle over weight but to be honest they could of been fine as ive not really seen them before. loads of nice dogs there today, put mine to shame.

    cheers lads. he will sit, stay, come back ect he will do the basics really well which is all i want, he was just very quiet and shy. as i said its these last few weeks he has just come right out of his shell. still abit shy but alot better then he was. he WAS my partners dog and ive just tret him like a pet with no intention of working him. he started to cling to me and has just become really attached. like i said he WAS hers, now he is catching bunnys he`s mine lol. he dont really play with toys enough to show interest in them out side the house so lamping them may not get him int

    yer the 3 last night were squatted tight, near enough hit them with the lamp to get them to run. he never saw them till they had run atleast 10/15 yards away as he was looking at me rather then what we were doing infront. the retrieve really surprises me as its only this last few weeks he has started to come to me properly when called. he was always good at coming back but never got to close and would never come close enough for me to touch him. thats why im more then happy with the rabbit being dropped at my feet, rather then in my hand.

    quick question. he spent all night looking at me rather then watching the light. he only saw the rabbits when they were close and got up to run. i sort of had to tell him to "go" before hesaw them and ran. it will just click that he should be looking for them in the light? or is there a way for me to teach him?

    went out in the rain lastnight and had 3 runs. thought ide get the pup out and about as the mixi has got a strong hold on this permission so might as well get em before the mixi dose! first run, first rabbit he has ever actually seen on the lamp and the pup ran over it on the first pick up attempt, straight back onit and scooped it up within 15 yards! to say i was over the moon is an under statement! to my suprise the rabbit was clean as a whistle. retrived it still alive and dropped it at my feet after a slight stop half way back. im happy with that. next 2 runs he lost both as they r

    they were very easy catches mate! they ran but to honest i could of probably caught them lol just giving him a taste. he retrieved them but dropped them just short of my feet and they kept trying to run off. he was a rescue who was mistreated so training has been alittle slow as the slightest thing makes him think he is going to get told off. good luck with yours mate he looks a belter! will have to get a pic of mine with a bunny if he picks another one up.

    nice one mate. my pup picked up his first 4 on sunday but i did go out with the intention of him getting his first. mixi is rife on my permission so i thought the only good thing to do was bring the pup on with them while i can.

    sure he will be fine mate. good luck with him. looked nice and clean as long as infection dont get in im sure it will heal up sharpish! he probably wont even feel it till today as his adrenalin would probably still be pumping last night.

      saluki is coming on great mate. just testing me all the time seeing what she can get away with!. monty is retired, unless a nice pet /very light working home comes along.
