whippets are excellent rabbit dogs and the odd few can do a little extra,i think the whippet is a great little dog and in the right hands can be a good little pot filler,loads of people breed whippets and ask for stupid money,some of the best are not pedigree and are bred by such as mike,i dont even know the man but if i was to consider a whippet again i think i would have to take a look at his,i preffer a good strong stocky dog,but thats me,i have a whippet greyhoundxwhippet that only stands 21 inch and shes 6 years old now run on some good stuff and as stamina like ive never known,good litt

i know how you feel mate my harris as just had my mates jack russel,but carnt get rid of her i will just keep her away from terriers shes not bothered about my dogs,my little male is ready now flew im free today at 1.9oz no food today for him ,he should be ok in the next couple of days hope your male turns out alright.

well yesterday i araldited both her nails and they look the tops saw today had her flying just for a bit of excersice she loves it she should be back in action next week after i give her another coat of araldite,cheers john.

it just shows that theres loads of people out there that do care about there dogs,i just hope this thread will make a few people think about the choice they make when taking on a lurcher or any other dog,cheers john.

well not a very good start to xmas driving my jeep to school yesterday all of a sudden a massive banging coming from the engine had to turn round and come home havent a clue about engines but the engine idles and it sounds like its coming from the turbo side of the engine this is the 4th jeep ive had and never had this problem before dont know if it needs a new engine or not so if theres any good mechanics out there its up for sale taxed tested for 6 mths overall tidy car for yr 1995,im not going to mess with it has im buying another its on ebay if anyone can do anything with it 4 good tyres h

why do so many people keep buying dogs,when theres lurcher rescue and other organisations that have loads of strays,which some can be made into good dogs with time and effort,some just buy them give them a week and get rid,you carnt find out about a dog in a week,theres loads of good lurcher men on here that take pride in there dogs and wouldnt part with them for the world,lets think about dogs that are passed from pillar to post not knowing who the owner is and then because they havent caught in the first week are sold again,thats why theres so many in kennels if your going to buy a lurcher w

mk1 15ft locator not terrier,2 collars 1 15ft 1 8ft all in good working order leather on collars could do with replacing ive ordered 2 leather collars of ebay which i will do,also 10 purse nets and single black plastic feret carrying box easy to clean and light weight,bought of ebay for £40 also loads of batterys £150 the lot,can send pics to email if wanted this is a real bargain,cannot post as delays in postal service may take up to 4 weeks.

well applied new skin today she doesnt seem that bothered,shes more bothered about being out hunting ive upped her food as its going to be cold tonight so at least she on the start to recovery.

cheers mate shes ended up worse off than the dog but hopefully she might be back in action in a few weeks.ill take some pics tommorow and put them on they look a mess.

cheers mate im not putting the new skin on while tommorow as i want it to dry up first but i will keep at it shes a brave harris,she has settled down now hopefully if the newskin works i might be lucky thanks again.

you dont really expect it when ive got 4 dogs of my own it was out of the blue she seems ok,just fetched a male to get going it was in a right state its been bowed out in a lads garden with no cover all threw this bad weather took a good couple of hours to clean im up cope him and change is furniture which was rock hard,got him in the house to dry out.

i have a female harris hunts at 2.1 1/4 took her out today with my mate and is jack russel,even though shes normally ok with dogs,she attacked it and was hung of its face i had to get her off and shes pulled her 2 back main talons theres only the flesh left no nails i couldnt believe it thats now put her out for a while,i got her straight home cleaned up her feet which were bleeding badly and put some antiseptic dry powder on this stopped the bleeding now its just a case of putting a few coats of germalene new skin on then leaving her ive just booked a month off work to fly her im devostated,a
