can see your point jamie and wouldnt of thought there was a pure out there to match a top class lurcher in the field and i know the dog sonny meant to be a goodun but some time lads go for the blood what the dogs has. i mean you like the buddy blood and by all accounts he was well beatble in the feild. but throughs top class dogs. i used a pure and maybe i got lucky but shes turned out a top class little bitch. and if i ever bred her i wouldnt go back to a pure as she has enough saluki in her. all pups chancey but you are more likely to get a goodun out of the proven lurcher to lurcher lines.
