  1. The local shops here are the same as ever, most people either go the the closet town, 25 miles or city nearly 60 miles away, and bulk buy once a week or fortnight nightly. Seen the usual delivery trucks today. The only thing is the school, pubs and the only hotel is closed. Wouldn't the hotel came under new owners two weeks ago, they did a full refit, talk about bad luck. Atb j
  2. ??? good on you for taking the old boy, bet he loved it. Don't notice any change here where i am, but the cities are grinding down. Atb j

  7. The government sent a load of refugees back to Clifden a few years ago, they didn't last long in it either. These places are the last points of Europe, wilderness, with nothing in there, for these people. Atb j
  8. Hell no. It would have burnt to the ground first. Atb j

  11. That's the town where my mother was born and raised, I have a lot of family there, that own businessness there that's how I know about this first hand. Atb j
  12. Only for the people came together to stop them. It was messy in the end, with the government threating to close small businesses in the town if they didn't stop protesting, and had heavy thugs to break the picket lines. These are the things you wouldn't see on the news. Atb j
  13. Nice little vid, thought it was funny. I personally like cats, but outside only. Atb j
  14. Sad, but true. This country will welcome them in with open arms. There's a small, and I mean small town not far from me, Oughterard it's call, and the government wanted to place 700, yes thats right 700 syirains there. This place only has one doctor, two small schools, zero employment, just a small farming country town, what were they thinking. Atb j
  15. It's a lovely day here, so I'm outside starting a bit of gardening after the winter. I can't but notice all the delivery trucks and van passing the house, bread, milk, gas, trash trucks ect ect. Cant understand all the panicking and panic buying. Or am I missing something. Atb j

  19. There thinking of letting out prisoners here, in case they catch the virus. WHY. They have the best isolation system going. Atb j
  20. What ever staff member is caught doing these things, should be fired on the spot and 6 months prision. And what ever member of the public caught should be imprisoned of 6 months, straight away, no court delays or anything. Robbing from anyone is bad enough, but from the sick and needy is worse. Atb j
  21. Wasn't just the staff doing it here I think. Poor poor little kids, and their parents. It's tough enough on them as it is, without these thieves. Atb j
