  1. thanks, would bushing rabbits at night be an option or looking around farm buildings eg apple crates or abbanoded barns as I often see rabbits going under. because in one of the country mans weekly it said that a pair of patterdales were fast enough to run a lamp.
  2. may be, but I find bushing/lamping rabbits more of a susspense.
  3. hi all, I like the idea of lamping with dogs as I have already done it with a gun and enjoyed myself. do you thing a terrier could cope with it. Im not looking to bag loads doing it more for fun. My lakelands about 16 inches may be a tad more if this helps. thanks.

  5. hi all, does anyone know of a lakeland terrier breeder called steven trollope in the Horley area[surrey] he uses a white bitch and a black and tan dog I believe he got the bitch from Ireland, belfast I think, as I have a friend who is impressed and is interested in a pup from him and he cant seem to get hold of him. Thanks.
  6. hi everyone, I have a nineteen month white lakeland terrier. Although I go shooting alot I want to take my terrier and my cousins lakie cross bushing as the breeder that we got my terrier from in Horley, used his terriers for ratting/rabbiting. What would I need to do in terms of finding the rabbit eg walk near to a headge where I suspect rabbits to be hiding. I have already taken him out just to see what his reaction would be, he saw two near the edge of a field and whent for them, but they were to close to their holes he is also keen around rabbit holes aswell and marks them.
