There's a guy in the Midlands who hunts two 19" Beddy/Whippet that take Fox/Fallow/Roe doubled up very regularly and I know several people who have seen them work ! Mental but in this case TRUE !!!

Let them be pups mate. Playing with each other and you, learning the smells and sights of the countryside, seeing livestock and basic obedience/discipline. If they catch something all well and good but they've got many years to do all that caper !

KANE AND GAZ......................I'd possibly agree if you could only have one dog.

I would say the reason is Kane is that they are a better size for bushing as well as the usual rabbiting/ratting and hunting duties. I would never have a terrier specifically for bushing when a Beddy/Whippet will do it better and a lot more besides. As for capabilities my 19" bitch catches rabbits, rats and her speciality is feral cats which send her into a psychotic rage ! Above all though she will hunt ANYTHING and her nose is just amazing. The amount of stuff she puts up for the bigger dogs makes her worth her weight in gold to me !

Common sense counts for everything Topper that much is true. So are you a Magistrate or not?

Topper, you may not be small minded. What is more, if you took time to read my post properly you would see that I clearly indicate that it is the council (not legal council!) that are small minded NOT Magistrates. It is MY view that cases involving civil servants as the plaintiff/prosecution are best heard in a Crown court. My post was not a dig at you Topper or Magistrates in general merely my opinion based on experience. However since you ARE a Magistrate Topper your grammar and sentence construction is shocking.

DO NOT CO-OPERATE WITH THE COUNCIL Take it from someone who knows only to well................ I ended up waiting 18 months for a date in the Crown........... then I f****d them right off Never the less it's not worth the hassle. Council types are just wound up bitter civil servant insects.............. ignore them !!! Remember if you do go before the beak opt for Crown court where a jury and a judge rather than idiotic Magistrates will see the council for the small minded berks that they are !

As lucky says carpet is best as it's cheap and easy to replace when the buggers have chewed it or when it's seen better days. Just cut a couple of slits in it so it's easy for then to walk through.
