  2. West coast katchum.

    @lab goldens or sea eagles?

Yea i can imagine they would decimate a lot of poults in jig time lol

Sea eagles. The keeper did a wee bit on Countryfile ( I think) about them. He was worried that if they made a nest on the estate the shoot would be stopped because an exclusive zone around it. Load of bollocks. Anyway one died, electrocuted it's self.

Kinda glad I was working a few big Labs and no a wee cocker anyway...?

  3. Yea BGD it was good to see. Second time ive seen it. Next time i go up that way I'll take my tab try get a pic.

It had a big branch in those talons. Must be renovating its nest somewhere.

@dogman i live close to the coast and this old guy was telling me to look out for a pair of sea eagles. Im guessing he meant oospreys? Or are they different?

Different mate. I had a pair arrive on a shoot I had for a little while. Big birds.

One of the estates I delivered too had a pair for a wee while. Would corner the poults with the wings out in the pen and kill lots. Not much you can do about it.

  4. Although I moan about the cost what do you really get for £20 nowadays...f**k all. So getting into a venue all day with lots of decent stalls, food and stuff to watch is probably not to bad.

I'll be there again on the sat.....great day out when the sun is shining down..??

Is g rooster not on here anymore?

I think we know the answer, AKA Lab.
    ?....no there's only me.

I just happen to know Gamerooster. No big deal. Just found it funny you said you were not on it. And technically your correct. Keep yer hair on.....oh to late...?

    Run along there's a good spy..... ?

    Nothing to see...??

Don't have a clue who this kid is, you and Ketchum are likely the same bloke just typing away at each other.

I ain't on FB Kenny so you must do better than that son.

    Your not on FB?
    No are You?
Yip....must be mixing you up with someone else then? Did you not have an argument with Gamerooster?

Yep I did, surprise surprise nothing ever came of it.

Oh I see....so you are who I think you are. Have you changed your name on FB then. You don't seem to be on there now right enough...?

  8. The government has just cut the bereavement allowance to a maximum of 18 months (I think they used to call it widows pension).........it used to be until your children were 16.

So, if you ain't over it and in your feet in 18 months tough shit !!

Which is fine if you are a working man/woman on a fairly good salary with a decent job.........I remember when my old man died my mother didn't know how to do a thing because she had never had to.......she didn't even know how to do the shopping because my old man knew all the business owners and he used to get everything.

She was lucky enough to have a couple of bob, but it soon runs out.

I remember them asking my mother if she could prove my old man was dead when she went to get her widows allowance !!......she was broken when they asked her that.

She dealt with so much and did it as best she could so I totally get what Stiffmeister is saying........what his money gives Rio is Breathing room.......that's what it is.

As Gnasher says I'm sure he would be on the bins if he could have his family back, we all would but what Stiff says is valid.

That first paragraph reminds me of a conversation I had with my grandad years ago. I friend of the family, a gamekeeper had just lost his young son in a car crash. A number of days passed and I asked my grandad "who was looking after his birds?".....He said to me "He will be....Christ, it's been a week!"

I actually prefer not to have white neighbours next to my property.. colored people they mind their own business but white people always nosey c**ts..

So why do you go and live in predominantly white countries then?

Stop trolling and turning this into a race thing.. and immigration issue.

Stick to topic .. " mod"

I think saying you'd rather not live next to white people is a race thing you stupid racist. It's like me going to live in some 3rd world african shithole then moaning about the blacks next door.

I bet they'd rather not live next to you either.

White people in sourh africa moan bout blacks.. and create their own white only ghettos

Its not a race thing, its just that most of them they are nosey..

Like indians smell of curry, whites.. not all ,but some are. I just had better experience with colored

Well australia native people are black .. just like africa.. just that white over populated it .

Could you stop referring to people as coloured please....I find it offensive.

Jo there is no point debating with Born. The lad makes Stephen Fry look like Mr Bean. I wish he would get on The Chase and steal the show...

LOL, that's bollocks, I'm wrong plenty.

Problem these days is that folks just want to listen to a credible source and believe their answer is the right answer, rather than going away a learning some of the established facts themselves. I like to do that. That doesn't mean that you can then form opinions on experiences because they aren't factual, they're subjective. But you can comment on facts as you see them.

    Tongue in cheek mate...

By the way there's nothing wrong with being educated. Obviously you take in what you read and you understand it. Good for you.

    And I can't remember you being wrong.....ever..

I know it was mate. I just don't really like being portrayed as smart or intelligent, it doesn't do you any favours in life. Like in this case, it just sets you up to be perceived as an authority on a topic rather than simply an equal having a discussion.

    Aye....yer right..??

  12. There are some greedy b*****ds out there. I hate it when you hear of families getting torn apart by money. Usually there is the brother/sister who has ran hand and foot for the parent till there dying day and you've got the other sibling who's never bothered to even visit. And when the parent dies they are there with the hand out looking for half. Horrible c**ts!

Same result either way surely? Murder is murder in my eyes sorry if that offends anyone x

I'm not offended in the slightest.

But neither am I naive ! If you pick a fire fight with one of the world's elite military units, you can expect consequences......for me, it's THAT simple !

What part of the law are you not getting.??

If a burglar broke into your house tonight and you caught him, tied him up and tortured him before stabbing him to death I'd agree with what you done but you know the law was going to f**k you right up.

No doubt plenty laws are needing changed..??

But laws will never change if people don't express their outrage when laws are needing changing...

Yes and I'm all for that in moderation.

Lab, i entirely "get" where Sgt. Blackman's detractors are coming from.......I just think they're wrong !

In an ordinary situation, I would probably agree with them - but this was a far from ordinary situation, so 'ordinary' rules shouldn't apply.

I'm afraid it is an ordinary situation on a 'battlefield'. That's what the signed up to I'm afraid.

If you however asked me to vote on changing those rules I would.

Ah, but if he was sentenced, then served the time and got released, would you say he needed to go back in for longer?

If he has done the time then that's it. Whatever the judge says he should do he must do it and get on with it.

It's a shite position to be in but he put himself in it.

Been thinking more about it and at purely a guess I say some of the army lads that don't condone his actions might be pissed off that he has done it and they have had to hold back.

So if he was to walk away scot free I can see the rule book being thrown out th window.

Been a while since I've read a thread that's really had my brain thinking. I know it's all about just having an opinion but I do like to think I was having the correct one. In this case it's very hard to know what to think.

Reading Socks post there it firmly puts my mind back to my initial thoughts that he should be freed immediately and although he admits he did wrong the punishment was too severe.

But I've also read some good points from Stiff' and it does make you think that certain laws have to be abided too and if broken, just like us, you need to face the consequences.

I find it weird how 2 men that have fought for the same thing, no doubt endured very similar training can have 2 completely different points off view on the subject.

I agree with that my automatic response would always be loyalty to my own so let him out and give him anything he wants.....however in the cold light of day he obviously f****d up and needed punishing as we all do when we f**k up,those in positions of responsibility perhaps even more so......the 2 lads on here both make valid points that help you understand and form opinions and for that we should be grateful....but sometimes i think you just dont need to have an opinion ive read a fair bit about this case and am still none the wiser i dont know but its ok not to know.....having a solid opinion on a subject you dont have much understanding of and sticking by that opinion no matter what is just silly.

Spot on. But there are a few folk on here who no very little on certain subjects but will argue there point all day. Don't get me wrong if I'm clued up on something I'll debate all day. Probably best to listen and take in information when you don't though...??

I wouldn't mind meeting ken. So I may pop over to add to the kitty..

Be warned you'll come away very disappointed!! lol

    Very, very, very,

I'd expect an angry, bearded, tattooed dwarf that's very hard to understand. Would I be disappointed?

have you already met him? :hmm::D

Only in a dream mate. I'll not go into it but Snow White was involved...?

Everybody is different lab and thinks differently myself and stiffy had different training and were in different arms of the army so would be in different situations in a battle zone so our views are going to be slightly different ......

Yes we are all very different mate. I take on board yours and Stiffs opinions and try and make some sense of it. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to make the call on what punishment he should face anyway that's for sure.
