    rocky 1 to answer your question in my opinion it depends on the selection in breeding in both crosses. I have seen 3/8 bulls that are too heavy and slow for some game ive also seen some that have no trouble getting on. I think if your going for a more allround dog you have a better chance picking the 3/8 bull 5/8 bull i think you will gain more drive and gameness and if bred right sufficent pace and stamina, i think both crosses have advantages over the other. but as we see there's alot of shit in both crosses being passed about.

    just heard from the lads there home vet said op went well sight should be okay wont know for def till tomorow but looking good, there keeping him in till sunday so just hope as he's a promising young dog thanks all. gutted for you bosun but atleast he still here and doing abit of what he loves

    Spoke to dodo just now specialist told him there going to open the eye and put a knew lense in and there is 85% chance of saving the eye fingers crossed. Lucky enough he has insurance the op is 3000 thats without meds if it had been me i'd be f****d. thanks for replys

    Brother phoned me this morning to tell me he,d finished the lure machine and to c if i wanted to take the pup for a couple of runs on it. So 1o'clock met him in a local country park nice big open flat space, my brother brung his bitch and his mate came with his whippet 11 months who ive taken out a couple of times and is showing promise he's had a few rabbits on the lamp. While we set the lure machine up the dogs were loose including my 2 and my fathers bitch all doing a bit of bushing as there plenty of warrens along the banks on the side of the field.
