  4. I just have a good look around 1st, plenty to be had, & try them http://www.theguncabinet.co.uk/shotguns_for_sale.html The guy in Herefordshire wants top ££££ dealer prices ! Leave them , as they look like refurbed junk. But look at the others. http://www.guntrader.co.uk/ good luck
  5. oh, so the magazine in an extra insert inside the removable trigger mechanism? isn't that similar to the R93? where the magazine is a plastic insert? DB No the magazine and the trigger mechanism is in one peace, but the extra magazine wich you will carry in your pocket is having a small plastic boxs over the magazine part, so everytime you will change your magazine, you have to remove the plastic part form your spare magazine, remove the original magzine, put in the new magazine and then put the small plastic part over the ole magazine before you put it in your pocket. Its to avoid
  6. Personally i would not touch an add on. As you say too much length, make an unbalanced shot, uncomfertable too. so i would make me an unhappy shooter. why not get a dedicated with quick release mount, most are & will simply unscrew & go back in seconds, as for the std day scope ,quick release are available also in 25 /30 mm mounts. remember to treat any N/V scope with care , with no artificial light passing thrpugh it, & keeping the prism perfect . before splashing a £1k + try the NVRS-F (top n/v) with good Infa red add on, you will be amaised at the clarity..Avoid A
  7. I had the R93 a gem of a rifle, had the barrels too, quick detach cost me a fkin fortune £3***+ barrels were £600 each s/h !! all in all a well made gun, the R93 ,shot good too . But for preference i sold the job lot to a weathy sportman, who felt more comfertable with expensive wood & i retained the calibers in 223 6.5 300 in Browning A bolt, at a fraction of the cost & with better results, yep you got it here 1st . So R93 value for ££££
  8. There are 100's & 100's around here , is it legal to shoot them. I meen there are 100's , we been shotgunning about 100 a day betwen the 3 of us , but they just keep comming in..what the fk is up with them !
  9. Buy a dedicated unti, the best you can afford, i have used them all over the years the nearest you get to military spec is the NVRS-F with an extra Infa red & double lense. The element of suprise more than makes up for the shot, i had 100's of goats, deer, & pigs after twilight .Use a lamp to quick spot, the target.N/V to do the job. For the $$$ they are a bargain, expect to pay $800+ s/h unit. http://www.rusmilitary.com/html/nvsight_nvrs-f.htm
  10. Get all the fitting for any fit, cig lighter, din plug or what ever from maplins. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=1277
  11. Have you any pics of the gun? is it the later model or the early heavy one. What about rust , as they were prone with barrels . Thanks

  13. NEVER write on your own cert. YOU fill the new owners cert in , as in the boxes & what it asks above, date , sold, serial No, your name adress , signature ..etc & post a written letter to your F.L.O stating you sold the gun to ......... with his details . Within 7 days. easy

  18. You must go with an approved airline that accepts firearms as luggage. Inform the authorities state side. NO ammo permitted. Not USA. Better to borrow there, & buy ammo there. Rifle bolts must be seperate. Europe is a doodle, with the license, but the Yanks are paranoid. Do not risk the cells !!
  19. If they are disembowled..they should be ok, if not 'BIN'
  20. On you application, put in for 4 rifles..they will question possibly 2 of them. 22l/r- 17hmr- 22H -223, they will pass the land 1st, to 223, if they say it will take that or lower 22hornet you get 3 slots, they knock off 1 , & keeps them sweet & every one is happy. cost, nothing extra to you.
