    You would do better saving a couple of hundred and getting a decent hunting rig . Then , after getting a lamp , you will have better chance of 20- 30 yd shots at night , than impossible shots , and wounding quarry .

    30 - 60 yds , lamping ???? You ever shot before ? lamping; shooting rats, rabbits, odd pheasant and fox. also hedging with the terriers. Sorry , your `About me ` says you`ve shot rats, rabbits, odd pheasant and fox . I know im about to regret asking , but how many 60yd shots have you taken during the daylight hours ?

    This is true , but i would drop mine down to 10 if it gave better results . ( obviously pcp ) with the drop you would also get higher shot count . You ask some of the HFT and FT boys , they wont shoot at 11.7 as its just a tad unpredictable , whatever suits you is the key , but as with life , everyday`s a school day , and we never stop learning . Your rig will always out shoot you , so every effort should be made to get the maximum out of it , that said it can only be done by knowing your gun and its capabilities inside out .     All the time ive been around shooting , i wish people were as concerned about accuracy and pellet placement as they are power . Personally , i would chose consistency / accuracy over power any day ofthe week . Main thing you should be concerned with , is practise .

    Most matt paints really aint that `Matt` . Ive doen it myself several times and sprayed the silencer , but its never really a matt finish . I would`nt worry to much Jasp , just give it a spray , no doubt you`ll end up doing it again ,atb Bust .
