    the mother of shortys bitchs were bred from my old barney dog to p o k charlotte bitch the fastiest lurcher iv ever seen this thing was prob to fast barney was of sport he was outta pk yard the mother of barney was a 3\4 grey 1\4 harrier hound

    i ment if i was going to breed a pure saluki bitch i would not go all the way back to a greyhound there is plenty of fast lurchers out there to breed from

    if the dog kills it fast its a bad hare prob at the start of the season but not in the heart of winter and yes they will and can be killed fast does not make it a bad hare the dog was just to sharp for it wat u suposed to do let the hare up and run 50 yards and run well here in ireland u have not got that sort of room to do that the hare just going to get to the next field go left or right by the time the dog gets there if he dont take the the the right turn course over waste of a hare and a waste of the dogs engery so when i get one in the seat im puting the dog on it right away nancy dont n

    here in ireland mate we just try to stick to the saluki lurcher breeding nothing more than 1\2 bread saulki as u will need them to last the day and the last thing u want is your dog starting to fall behind after 2 or 3 fields i think buddy is throughing fast up an at them types

    get her tomorrow havent got long to get her going but she will see at least 2 or 3 on sat and the following week the same that should bring her on a bit get her a few rabbits next week

    if irishlady wasent a good killer why was she talked about so much and it was a lot easyer to kill hares years ago 15 years ago when i started hunting there was lots of hares down south we were killing them with your avreage lurchers now it only the best left and there breeding with the best with not as much about its a lot harder to rack up big numbers unless u hunt 2 or 3 times a week

    some crack bringing them on captain and when they lift there first hare no better feeling atb with them for next year
