  1. That handbook DD has been dis-continued by the IWTF.

It was written in a hurry by some one not fully fluent on some details but meant well.

A booklet will be done in due course probably after the final readings of the Animal Health and Welfare Bill 2012 and then we'll be more up to date on current laws.

You'll find that most fieldsports organisations do publish some literature on their chosen sport regarding the law.

Anyone here in the ROI should educate themselves on the code of conduct written by the Master of Foxhounds Assc. regarding the working of your terriers and keeping yourself out of trouble.

The IWTF also has their code of conduct available to download of the web-site, iwtf.ie.

    Hope this helps.

  3. RISE is a campaign made up of various fieldsports organisations in Ireland.

As to their relationship with the IWTF ?

Some of these organisations have spoke to the IWTF and some have given the IWTF advice.

These organisations have been very helpfull to the IWTF and have played a big part in making us what we are today, which is amazing after only a few weeks.

So in my opinion we owe RISE and should be there to support the rally.

After all it is a rally that's supporting ALL fieldsports.

    Hi Neil

I personally think the Terrier man is in a catch22 situation when it comes to supporting RISE,i would support any fieldsport yet they dont support mine.

There was a big turnout of Terrier men from around the Country at the RISE rally not so long ago,yet they still dont support us,any one know why?Im sure you have been in contact with RISE,will they be supporting the IWTF in the future. After all Terrier work is a recognised fieldsport?
