  3. Here's my two pence worth if any body cares, my mates bitch lost her litter this year, my bitch had a phantom, so now there's a predicament of getting in new blood, will I have to pay for a pup? Yes. Do I mind paying for a pup? No. How will I go about sourcing a pup? Probably with great difficulty. The problem is you don't know what you buying, or how much crap the fella on the other end of the line is feeding you. Where I live not a lot of people seem to breed, and if they did what do you do with the surplus, giving away to friends is fine but I don't have the kennel space for loads of dogs and neither does anyone I know, so taking on a pup is normally out of the question unless you've lost a dog, as for the people who cull the excess , I think it's a bit selfish, killing a perfectly healthy pup when a young lad just coming into the game could have a good crack at it, instead of buying in some shite from pre loved . Proper Working dogs are a rare breed and so are the lads that work them, so culling the excess decreases the gene pool even less and young lads who have failed time and again because of buying in shite leave the game and in the end what's left? Fook all !!! Breed your best sell the rest give everyone a chance to have decent stock and maybe are sport will get stronger.

you cant blame lads who dont pass on there surplus ,theres to many lads, young and old just interested in the money, why should a lad with good stock which took him years and years to get a decent standard of terrier pass on his breeding to someone he dosnt know only for them to make money off there backs?i understand where your coming from, but how do you tell the decent lads from the dirt?

  4. There was a situation a few year ago where dogs were robbed[lurchers] on a chap I know who lives about 4 mile away.He got information that the dogs were on a site in the fingles area of Dublin so along with 2 local Garda he and his hunting mate headed up.1st stop was the Garda station in fingles where they were told what happened and that he believed his dogs were on this site, the guards in fingles did not want to know and said they would not enter the site just to get a couple of dogs back as it would cause too much hassle and maybe start a riot. Then the 2 local Garda and the 2 lads went themselves to the site where on entering saw 1 of his dogs and called it up and put in the van. They were then met by a mob who literaly threatened to burn them in there vehicals if they did not go,they said the women on the site were more abusive then the men,in the end they had to leave with only the 1 dog,but it goes to show that even the law are afraid of these people.

unfortunetley thats the truth with the gaurds in this country, these are a law on to themselves and unless you know lads that have the back up to tackle them you will find it hard to get them back.

  5. This problem will not go away, its a desperate situation to be in when your dogs are under threat from these cnuts and the majority at it have an army behind them, the best advice i can give is invest in your kennels, nothing you do will make it impossible to take but you can make it as hard as possible for them to enter your yard and even harder for them to enter kennels, its all down to the few quid but if it gives you piece of mind its money well spent in my opinion.

  6. They also take the bounce out of the bedroom ceiling..i would get a builder in mate to check it out..the last thing you want is the roof sagging and allt the plaster on the bedroom ceiling's cracking..

thats exactly what will happen.ceiling nails will pop and plaster crack,i would try get a beam of some sort in finch beam would be handiest, two 9x2s with a 18mm ply in between, then you can run a sub floor in and no pressure will be on your ceilings.you build your walls off the beam and that strenghtens the roof also.then you put in collar ties on.then you can do your cut out.

if you continue the way your going you will have problems in the future
