  1. get your self a hatsan escort 12b semi auto mate there multi choke, less than £400 and you dont get the recoil like an o/u so you can have the heavier loads, plus they come with stock extentions so you can extend it the bigger you get. a lot of people knock them but so long as you keep it clean and only use cartridges above 65mm long you'll be fine i wish i'd never got rid of mine i really regret it. best off going and holding a few different ones at a gunshop or if you can get to a clay ground and see if they've got any club guns you can try good luck what ever you get mate
  2. i've got a centerpoint 4-16x56 powerclass with 30mm tube, sidewheel parallax and mil-dot il-ret red/green on my .22lr i paid £195 for it and its worth double in my opinion there real quality scopes and i would advise anyone to atleast have a look at them there quite cheap on opticswarehouse
  3. cheers gary i wanted to get the synthetic 410 but at the time i baught mine only the wood was avalible they were waiting for the synthetic ones to come in,and i couldnt wait, so i;ll stick to the wood now. sorry mate i think that was meant for epo, not sure why i put your name, they are quality little guns my first was a baikal .410 single barrel with wooden stock i wish i'd not let it go.

my complaint with rspca is that they waste funding, i had a knock at the door about 6 months back and it was a lad with an rspca bib on and a clip board asking for a donation of £8 so i let him in and was telling him about my dog which came from an rspca approved rescue center, ill start with the dog story first as the two are linked -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- just after christmas me and my wife started looking in rescue centres for a dog we are both soft as shit when it comes to dogs so breed wasn't t

if you've nothing to hide mate which i'm sure you've not, just let him in give him a cuppa and as he's leaving make sure your twat of a neighbour see's you shaking his hand and make it look like your the best of friends it'll really piss your neighbour off, if you tell them to f**k off they'll beleive you have something to hide and probably get a copper to come with them next time and it'll be more hasstle than its worth. you've done nothing wrong all it will do is put there minds at rest and they take any other reports with a big handful of salt. just wondering what you meant about been
  7. i'd say the filter was a must mate, i'd also go for a walk round with just the lamp and re familiarise our self with the land scape i found distances look a lot different at night, your best off walking and having a quick lamp sweep the feild turn it off then walking a bit more, try not to over lamp, obviously if you see something get settled down make a mentle note of where it was, put the lamp on last second take the shot, then lamp off move on when you've collected it, hope this is of some help to you, have fun and good luck. gary
  8. not sure about thumbhole stock, but my cz-452 varmint is a good allround bit of kit very very accurate reasonable price i've got a sako mod on mine got it for £30 its very quiet, you cant go wrong with them mate very good guns
  9. hi guys just a quick one i have recently been using the above rounds, i bought some the other day and only 3 in one box had proper hollows the rest varied greatly, most had a virtually flat head with a slight dip in it have any of you found the same? i have always used eley subsonic hollowpoints but for some reason my two locals since moving here don't stock them, i just think its really poor i'll try put some pictures up, some of them look like solids there that bad! is it worth taking them back or are they generally a poor round? no wonder my grouping wasn't great gary
  10. hi rizla1 if you would prefere a synthetic kexby country store in kexby, gainsborough is where i got mine he's usually got a few in there number is 01427787157 they'll not be the cheapest around but like i say he's normally got them in. as for the baikal in wood you can't go wrong mate only downside is they get scratched like any wood stock, personally i would say go for synthetic but purely for cosmetic and practicality gary
