it's had 4 new bags and three new straps lol ? Just messing ,I just take a bag for my nets, but have used this bag for years, holds 20 nets, made from strong canvas, just got a Seamstress to make it, handy bit of kit, had it about 40 years.

why does the english language have so many names for collective nouns for birds that all mean a group of
a murder of crows
a hover of crows
a parliament of crows
a storytelling of crows
a muster of crows
a parcel of crows
a horde of crows
a gulp of magpies
a tittering of magpies a tidings of magpies a mischief of magpies a conventicle of magpies to name but a few
Is it not a parliament of owls and a horde of magpies ?
What about a flock of seagulls ? ("If I had a photograph of you.....something to remind me")

Why do you never see white dog shit anymore ?
Most people don't feed their dogs bones anymore. Just that processed stuff. As the dog's stomach acid breaks down the bones fragments it gives you that nice chalky white dog shit that crumbles on a day in July without a breath of wind, while the suns beating down, instead of sticking to your Adidas Gazelles while you do the poo removal foot slide on the grass verge.
Oh thought you could only see it when you were a kid , like poltergeists ?????

buy the poly make your own ??Hi guys and gals love this site have bought heaps of goodies a jok box that I'm loving as well as long nets from nelson which are fricken awesome but time to upgrade some purse nets.i have seen all threads on purse nets and where to to buy them from but I'm in need of 4ft hi vis poly nets x 40 sent to australia can anyone help? cheers pete

Got some new monkeys in off a lad who comes out with me sometimes , when he's allowed ???, hope one or more make the grade , big day out back end Nov start Dec , keep something nice back for them . Plenty of rabbits nice 6 foot deep sand , ?

I took another load of chicken manure down today which helps with rotting the compost. Also cut a bagful of comfrey which puts another layer of good ness in the mix. My biggest job by far, at the moment, is something I didn't really think too much about. De Stoning. For some reason, we are no where near a river or brook course, the garden , at about a foot down, is full of river stones. Now I realise that it's good for drainage etc but whenever I rotovated or hand dig sections up they come and not small by any means. I'm trying to do about 4 square mets at a time but the volume of rubble is a problem. What to do with it? Hard old life this allotment. Love it. Jok.

Picked up more seed at the weekend : / lol , black kale carrots, swede, and autumn broad beans , ton of salad seed , winter cabbages spring greens , busy week , ground to clear , and the whole time she's in my feckin ear , ????
