  7. anyone ever used pocket poppers? they look like they could be a handy bit of kit .they stabilise the trap and form a small cubby.they could be pushed or buried into most rabbit holes with some adjustments for the spring. come to think of it ,why?,it havent fenn come up something like this as it would solve most of the problems with the mark6 [holes to big or small] and if the trigger plate was set in a well ,it would only need small amout of peat to cover it ,thus reducing the risk of stones falling under the plate micky

  16. Glad to hear it mate, but I have to echo the others on here- slightly irresponsible in the first instance. And also, I get the impression- and find it very concerning- that if someone had replied to your original post with "I have a couple for a fiver each if you want them", you probably wouldn't have gone looking for the lost ones. Still, glad you got them back.

  19. during the late 1970s i caught rabbits on lord spencers estate in northamptonshire.on five separate occasions i trapped white rabbits, his lordship told me that they had been introduced in the 1900s to make the lawns look pretty but i suspect it was to add new blood and weight to the local stock. last week i drove past nobottle woods for the first time in 25 years i stopped and picked one up , it had been hit by a car.there coats are stained brown from burrowing but they are still unmistakably white.over the years i have caught quite a few black and one ginger rabbit but althorp is the only
