    My wife once said, "I know 1 or 2 foreigners and they are nice people". My reply was " now love, you can`t tar them all with the same brush, just because you meet 1 or 2 nice ones, it doesn`t mean they`re all nice".     As others have said, get on and do something to show the farmer you are serious. I have shot many hundreds of rabbits bolting them to the shotty and this does not seem to bother any unbolted ones still underground regarding noise above. This gives you the ability to move from 1 warren to another pretty quickly. Regarding lamping and scaring deer at night, this is not a bad thing as any deer moving away at the sound of a shot helps to protect them from drive by lampers or can at least help.     I live in South Yorkshire and to be fair exactly where i live there aint too many niggers or pakis but when i go to work in Rotherham its like spot the white man. I had to laugh the other night whilst watching ITV with a 2 night item about ASBOs. On it were 2 sisters whom lived on an estate in Doncaster and were getting hell from the family across the road whom had 4 ASBOs between them and there were only 4 people in the family.     Hello mate, As others have said it is the flywheel. Have a look on flebay, there`s loads of brand new parts for no money, including flywheels. I have just got a minimoto myself, i actually swapped a pair of motocross boots which weren`t being used so the bike stands me at nothing. To be honest it`s a cracking little bike but took some getting going. I stripped the carb down to clean the old oil out which seperates from the petrol if stood for any length of time as well as putting a new mix of oil a petrol in.     Hi Ali N, Yes it is legal to shoot deer on a Sunday in Scotland, but there are certain places that frown upon it, these i think are mainly in the more northern parts of Scotland like Sutherland. I spent a week there last month and that particular area doesn`t allow shooting on a Sunday at all. I have done lots of stalking in the borders area on a Sunday as well as Dumfries and Galloway. You would be wiser to find out about the particular area you are planning to go to before venturing off. Hope this helps. Fozzy

    Hello cunninghamb. I did what you want to do, went to Borders college on a HNC in gamekeeping with wildlife management course with the sole intention of becoming a stalker or wildlife ranger. I also did contract work and worked under Ian (chief ranger) whom was mentioned earlier, very nice chap.     Hello there, just a quick intro and a bit about myself. My name is Ian, i live in Yorkshire (gods own country) and my main past time is deerstalking which i have done for about 20 years. I have enjoyed lots of ferreting and lamping in North Yorkshire and other parts of the country in the past but not so much these days. I own a Mannlicher .270 and Tikka .243 and Berretta o/u. I am considering getting another Rapid 7, preferably mark 1, or Theoben eliminator but not too sure whether it would get used enough, but suppose it would also depend on price. I will keep my eyes peeled.
